  1. Whatever dude. Not sure why you are getting upset and cussing. You always respond immediately and have been a rude prick since your first response so you obviously take this shit way too seriously. I have tried to keep it friendly because we are talking about fucking fourwheelers here, not life and death issues, but fuck it and fuck you. You are probably a miserable fat fuck with no life. Keep on trollin, drinking Mountain Dew, thinking that your internet research is giving you real experience, and giving bad advice. You can lead a jack ass to water but you cant make him drink it. And if we had this debate in person i GUARANTEE that I would have smacked the fuck out of you about three responses ago. Not because our opinions differ but because you are a disrespectful faggot. You yourself have a lot to learn but i am sure you will keep on trolling and acting like a total jackass. Oh and you never responded about Ricky Matteson's 10 overal GNCC wins on a MF Banshee so i guess you were going to just overlook that important fact. At the end of the day you have no rebuttal for 10 GNCC overalls and that green motor looks like a total piece of shit plus there are two pipes. Get a life and stop lying. You have no actual experience with MF products, admit it. Come find me in Louisville KY if you want to see what i am all about. I am easy to find and i will fuck you up. 2. I see that Duncan is claiming 2 open A GNCC championships on their site so i stand corrected on that. However, while i was trying to remember who the Duncan riders were, i came across the rankings for GNCC overall wins. (Any rider in any class can take the overall.) Ricky Matteson won it all 10 times on a Moto Fast Banshee. All of the others in the top 10 for lifetime overalls were on 250Rs or 4 strokes. Regarding that magazine dyno shoot out, everyone knows that magazine tests are biased towards the builders who spend the most on advertising in said magazine - so that dyno chart means nothing to me. Also, I am not sure what that photo is supposed to tell us. Show me an ad for a yamaha single manifold and tell me that you have actual experience with MF products and i will rest my case. Anyone who was around east coast woods racing will attest that MF banshees were an absolute force in the woods and i promise there is plenty of top end power. I once watched GNCC pro Jeff Stoess smoke a modified fox body Mustang 5 liter on his MF Banshee at least 10 times in a row on a long stretch of road. (Jeff was also running long rods.) The guy who owned the land we were riding on that day challenged him to a drag race when he over heard us praising Jeff's Banshee as we were loading up. He just knew his car was going to win. It was never even close, and that was after we rode muddy trails and climbed steep slick hills all day in cold KY October rainy weather. I dont know what else you could ask of a Banshee. 3. Hey ZillaFreak, i dont want to debate you on this guy's thread, but you may want to check your facts. Duncan NEVER won a GNCC on a Banshee. GNCC stands for grand national cross country - woods racing. This guy rides mostly TRAILS so he would do well to model his build after a GNCC winning combination. Tour recommendations would be a decent MX set up but not for rutted trails, hill climbs, and mud. Why do you claim MF is junk? That is a strong statement with no supporting evidence. A Yamaha OEM single carb manifold doesnt exist that i am aware of. Paul Turner pipes are very high quality and yes Duncan has won a lot of open class MX races, PDV, etc, but not woods. The MF single carb and pipe combo makes TORQUE without robbing top end. I do agree that he definitelty needs shocks.. I will give you that. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  4. If you are mostly on the trail and sometimes MX, you may consider the Moto-Fast single carb manifold, a PWK, and Moto-Fast 2 into 1 pipe. You will have plenty of power on tap throughout the RPM range and they sound amazing. Dyno port makes a 2 into 1 pipe as well and trinity has a single carb manifold but Moto-Fast was the first and the only engine builder to ever win a GNCC on a Banshee. I am in KY and also ride trails and occasional MX. More top end is the last thing you need around here. Moto-Fast Banshees used to give the Hondas fits before Mr Smith had to close the business to attend to personal matters. He is a RD RZ & Banshee guru and works with yamaha directly for R&D. You can find him on ebay selling some old dead stock parts under the seller name 'motojunk' if you message him, he will respond and probably has exactly what you need. Just thought you might want a differentiated prospective. Not sure how rough the trails are in your neck of the woods but a 70 hp stroker would be a handful on the trails around here.
