  1. Awesome. Thanks for the help. Sheared the key a couple weeks ago. Bought a nearly new flywheel and just want to do it right to avoid it from happening again.
  2. Yup that’s what I’m talking. Spin side to side. Rotate completely around on the crank... then wipe off and repeat process til it doesn’t sound gritty? Then few rotations
  3. Lapping my flywheel for the first time.....hopefully last time. I have some lower grit stuff on hand. Not the most course... but course. Do I need to go buy 280 grit for finishing? Or can I get away with only using the course stuff. Thanks in advance.
  4. Check the nail polish isles. You look ridiculous doing it, but Iv been that guy at Walgreens looking for my particular yellow.
  5. Once you go roundhouse, you will question why it took you so long to get one. I can’t believe I went so long before buying one and hours spent trying to get the chain just right before saying “screw this” and torquing the bolts. The stock 2 bolt design with the adjustment screws is just a terrible design. If you want a suggestion... JL did a great job on my swingarm.
  6. Negative. Little pricier. $210 a tire. But I also got them comp cut which I’d assume adds to the price.
  7. Terrible influences. Got the brats ordered from Fullerton sand sports. Just for reference, they don’t offer the brats in a 10in wheel anymore just 21x12x8 for those who care.
  8. I have a stock style +4 swingarm for sale. Powder coated black as well as the carrier. Excellent shape. Only blemish is where chain slider rests. Very low ride time. Only selling because I picked up a JL arched swingarm. Will include a brand new Modquad chain slider. Carrier has grease zerk mod. All bearings are all pretty new. (10 hrs). Just bolt it on and go. . 9. Wtf man.... here I think Iv got things figured out and you have to make me second guess. I’m liking the idea. Still 9 paddle? And also wondering if comp cut is okay piddling around on LS pavement on the way to the gate. And is sand tires unlimited the only place to buy from?
  10. Yea I know that the sand was part of the issue.. are you on 22’s? My new gearing will be about the same as what you are running and should help a bit.
  11. Iv done searching and reading old threads and I’m not sure I found the info I was looking for. Iv got a 421 Serval, +4 swingarm, gearing 3.0 (14-43). I was running 22x11x10 10 paddle. It was too much paddle. Boggy until I reached speed on the dunes. I was running 15-42 gearing on those tires. (Sand was also damp on the particular day I was trying them) Keep in mind, this is a play bike, so I like the 10in wheel look and rollout isn’t my main concern. I would think 20x10x10 9 paddle extremes would work great for my application, but want to verify before I spend the money again. 8 seems too little but I’d like to hear suggestions.
  12. Did you have to modify the frame to get the shop stool to fit? I definitely like the color combo. It’ll look great when finished.
  13. Iv got some some 20x11x10 (I believe....ill need to verify when i get back to where i keep them). I do know they are 20's on 10 in rims. These things are so fresh, its unreal. Still have nipples on them. Will take pictures when I get back to them. Rims will not be included. Just posting to see if anyone needs them. If someone is interested, I can get to them ASAP to get them shipped out. $150 shipped.
  14. Iv got 22x11x10 10 paddle haulers on aluminum ITP wheels. These have seen ridiculously low ride time (2hrs or so). Wheels are in nearly perfect shape... could use a polish. Rubber excess skin is still on the paddles. If you don’t want the rims, we can work out a different price. Let me know if you want to see more pictures. $430 shipped Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Iv got a set of Lonestar Sport AArms. They are in great shape. Ball joints have 1 ride on them. Tie rods included. I would recommend new plastic bushings for them. These have had very light use. I would still run them, but I went with a long travel setup. Only major blemish is where the brake line runs. Not even noticeable from where it is on the arms. It is shown in the picture. 400 shipped. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Found one from supercar on Ebay. Still paid top dollar but looks like a quality piece. I haven’t had a problem with his parts.... ever.
