  1. Iv got some Lonestar Racing A-arms on my quad. Maybe 20 hrs on them max. From the beginning, my upper arms had slop, like the bushings were too big for the pivot tube causing play in the upper a arms. I figure now that it is winter, I have time to get this issue fixed for good. I am waiting on new bushings from Lonestar, but I am doubting that this will fix my problem based on the fact that the bushings never fit right from the beginning, new bushings shouldn't fix the problem unless i was sent the wrong ones when I bought the arms. I am wondering if I should be using the stock dust caps to hold the upper bolt snug to prevent the play that I have. I feel like the slop would be fixed, but only because the load would be held by the dust cover holes and not the bushings. Im not sure if the covers are designed to hold a load in place. Any insight would be great or if someone is running these arms, if they can tell me if they are using the stock dust covers. I cant find the original installation instructions to verify if they are used or not. Thanks!
  2. I can’t run a remote res. I have a small battery pack/reg behind my tank and my shock res mounted up front hidden under the front Plastics... and all the damn wires they give you for the rigid light bar. Not to get completely off topic, but my Serval is being ported right now. When I go to fill the coolant, do I purge from the water plugs, then top off coolant level? From there I guess I can run the single tube off the neck and let the excess overflow....considering the majority consensus of the coolant res is not necessary.
  3. Basically, just forget about it and run it back to the front? It’s not like it’s killing me, it would just be nice to cut down on wires/tubing running down the frame.
  4. Odd question. Trying to clean up the vent hosing on my quad. Shorted it up and ran it thru the CDI wiring eyelet. I figured out really quick that a short run like that being at the back of the bike spills coolant when riding aggressively. I feel dumb for even considering that to work right. So my question is.... can I run a gas cap vent on the short run of tubing to prevent leaking and still vent the res. I guess I’m trying to wrap my head around which way air flows, as I don’t want to cause a vacuum effect, if that’s even possible. Thanks!
  5. This is a great help guys. Sprockets are cheap enough that I may toy around with a couple of these combos.
  6. I am currently running 13/44 on my 4mil stock cylinder (4mil port timing but no dune/play port) setup with 22in 10 paddle haulers. I have a +4 swingarm. I am currently rebuilding the top end to a Serval setup with shearer inflames. 35pwks. Supposed to put out somewhere in the 80hp range. I mostly dune ride, but enjoy dragging friends/randoms at Little Sahara at the end of the day. Last trip on my old setup, I didn’t like the low end I had for climbing dunes. I was just fine with decent speed on approaching, but felt I lacked a little bit. I also struggle with even getting the front end to pop up when dragging. Starting in 2nd-forget about it. I was wondering if anyone out there runs a similar setup and can tell me whether to keep gearing the same with the bigger motor or change something up. Not terribly concerned about losing top speed, as I am rarely rapping out 6th gear. Don’t want to completely screw up top speed but I’m willing to take a little off to benefit my bottom end. First timer on the forum. Any insight would help.
