I've read it elsewhere while scrolling through different posts too but I take it you're disagreeing...? It seems as if everyone has a different opinion on pipes. Some work with low, mid, and top end. I guess its a matter of what works best for you and the type of riding you do.

I did say one of and FAST. I inquired about getting Shearers and was told to stick with what I have as the T5's are a great all around pipe.

I wonder if you're advancing it too far. Did you try putting it in the middle?

Had the same problem. Carbs were leaking a ton of fuel onto the top of the engine and leaking into the stator. The casing on the wiring was opened up and allowing fuel to go down into the stator. I pulled everything apart, cleaned it real well and was able to seal everything up. I re did the wiring and use silicone to seal up the inside grommet.

Several builders have told me that the T5's are one of the best "all around" pipe. Although some people think they are overpriced and better options are available, if you have them, they will work perfectly fine with basic mods and even some mild builds as well.

I recently had to source one and Ebay was my best bet. Found one fairly easy for a good price.

I'd be happy to hear any suggestions for better pipes. I currently have T5's and they seem to work pretty good. What would be a good comparison?

It's sad, this place 10 years ago was a booming business and really knew how to build a wicked four wheel. The past couple years it has gone completely down hill and now completely closed with shut doors. I've heard about the drug habits and the fact he is missing shows this is the end of ECA. Sucks to hear about the loss of your bike along with others as well. Like they always say, Karma is a bitch and what goes around, comes around. From the mess he's in, I doubt he'll be around much longer.

Do you know the current compression your bike has? also what is your elevation?
