  1. 100 octane should be plenty for 150psi. I'd take Kevin's suggestion and put the timing back to stock to see if that fixes it. Kevin does great port work but once upon a time had dome design issues. It its spitting plugs at stock timing and you are sure the compression is 150psi you have a dome design issue.
  2. Check your timing and your compression. I'm guessing either your compression is too high for 100 octane and/or you have too much timing. If those is inline then your dome design probably sucks. I'm in San Diego if you need help.
  3. Athena are junk. Get Driveline or CPI cylinders. If you are looking at Levtrons then money isn't a problem so Id go CPI. Keihins are better carbs. PWK only, 28-39mm depending on what you're complete setup is. I'd also get a Chariot head over Pro Design.
  4. Hi, I saw an old post from you (from 2018) about a front end setup. With Fox Shocks and Fireball long travel a-arms.

     

    Do you have the extreme ground clearance LT a-arms from Fireball? I bought some of those about a year ago and now I'm finally shopping around for shocks. Do you still recommend the fox shocks? if so, what model? i think i would need 19.25" according to fireball website.

    also, what do you recommend for a rear shock? i have a +4 swingarm.

    I'm also in san diego. and i pretty much only ride in glamis. basically a duner. i do not drag race at all.

    i appreciate any input. thanks!

      I don't have the EGC arms, I have their previous generation arms which I prefer. Both take 19.25" shocks. I have run every major brand front shock you can name on mine and like the floats the best. The Gen 3 Fox Floats RC2 are the good ones. I wouldn't run the nonadjustable "stick" Fox Floats. 

      I custom built a Podium rear shock setup for an LT Elka link on mine. If money is no object that is the best combo I've ever ridden. If you'd like to save cost the stock rear shock can be setup for your arm and weight or you can go any aftermarket shock. Most important is making sure the shocks you get are setup for you.   5. It's unlikely you'll ever get it to run right with all the knock off electronics. Suck it up and buy quality stuff or forever fight with a poor running unreliable machine.
  6. They do this at the factory as the case halves are machined as a set. Every oem banshee case will have a matching code scribed in each half.
  7. Roundhouse carrier is also called Honda style carrier. They have the enclosed carrier housing that an aluminum carrier with eccentric axle hole slides in. The eccentric hole is how you adjust the chain. The difference is the chain adjustment. That's it. Roundhouse allow you to properly and effortlessly adjust the chain tension and keep it. Yamaha never put it on factory for the banshee. Yamaha's design is terrible and often fails on high hp quads. Don't waste your money on another stock carrier. Buy a new swimgarm with Roundhouse style carrier mount.

  12. Get an oem or Hot Rods crank, Wiesco pistons, and have your oem cylinders bored to match pistons.
  13. They do not make them anymore. I'm not sure when they stopped, 10 years maybe. A complete roller would be worth in the $8-10k range imo for a Laeger narrow with T-pin front end.
