  3. Pretty sure 450r and raptor calipers are the same. Oem spindal Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
  4. Hey Gusto. I had the similar issue when installing 07-08 450r calipers. My issue was I bought Rock aftermarket brake pads. The friction material is thicker then the oem. Replaced the pads to oem and issuse was much improved. May be not your issue as you have different spindles Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
  5. Watching the exchange rate now lol. Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
  6. Yes totally agree. Ive riden a few bike with cpi's and do like their power delivery but have gone through this fourm and the SLP's seem to be a better match for this build. Hoping it will perform well, still have a bunch of work to do on it over the winter. Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
  7. No, just stock bore and stroke, but mx ported. Yes starting to lean towards SLP or CPI Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
  8. Lol yea this is the one that started it all. Picked up the 10mil and road it for bit in the summer. So going to finish this one up over winter. Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
  9. Finally back at it a bit after summer crash. Installed Wicked intakes, purchased from BHQ member, leak downed all good. Didn't take a pic but but ground off air box tabs. Test fitting new 33 Pwk purshased from site sponsor Fast. With the Wicked intakes I have lots of clutch arm actuator clearance. Next decision for exhaust to run. Was running fmf fatties with this mx pirting but with stock carbs. Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
  10. good to know. I purchased their carrier to finish up trail bike, fast shipping to. Will have to add this to the wish list, current tusk axel weights a lot. I guess you are speaking from experience. Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
  11. How much trail abuse can the play axel take, Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
  12. Bike looks kick ass, good job Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
  13. Well if you want to make sure. Build a better tester for pressue testing. And retest. 6 psi for 6 min. If it dosen't, check all your fittings and spay motor with soapy water to find leak. Make sure you are using the correct end for your compression tester, must be same length as the spark plug goes in. Hold throttle wide open and kick till neddles does not move Did retourqe everything after heat cycle. Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
  14. Correct plug chop is seeing how your jetting is lean, rich ect. A smaller increment gauge would be a good idea. How long did it hold pressue with your current set up. Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
  15. When you repeat leakdown just make sure it hold 6psi for about 6 min if not spray around with soapy water to find leak. When i did mine I could not find the leak, but ended up being a leak on pressure gauge. So check your equipment too. Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
  16. Should still repeat leakdown to be sure since you not confident, then plug chop it Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
  17. How long did the leakdown test hold 6psi for. Do you have stock head or coolhead with domes. Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
  18. Use your imagination Claude, your boss should reconize any project as a teaching oppertunity. Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
  19. Keep it up Claud. Could you not improve your current design coolent flow, to allow less restrisive flow, since most are running higher capacity rads and improved water pumps. Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
  20. Great seller, purchase with confidence.
  21. I will try to check to see if they are still around. Nothing seems to be cheap anymore. Once you get most of the heavy rust off, the pipes polish up pretty quickly. A bench top polisher/buffer also speads up the process.
  22. Wonder how the op made out. I dont think i would do it again though. Anyone know if chrome shops would redip used pipes.? Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
  23. Lol. Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
