  1. This issue is the only reason why I haven't pulled the trigger on doing a big order. But I will try what Gusto mentioned but no shipping other then USPS, I've been burn many times using any other type of shipping. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk
  2. Holy shit, was not expecting that much. You both running same ply tire to?. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk
  3. I do apologize if you checked already, but did to clean off a frame where the coil mounts and your frame ground wire ect. This does seem odd that you are having this issue. We used same builder with same mods other then the head. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk
  4. There nothing wrong with making your buck go further. I had my cylinders redone when I had them ported. Kicking myself now for not doing the cases now. Keep up with the pics. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk
  5. Going to look nice with those plastics. Cases look good to, I was debating doing that at next setup change. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk
  6. RTR red is still available through Yamaha. If you have your VIN take to dealer and they can put a special request in to Yamaha to check stock, the dealers system will show backorder. I ordered my red set last fall. It took 5 weeks to get here from Japan to Canada. With a discount I cost was just a tad over 1200 Canadian. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk
  7. Ok my apology for assuming. So I will spell it out the long way. As stated some insurance companies require you to have a keyed ing, to have theif coverage, in the event the bike is stolen. My statement was not about how easy it is to bypass the key. So in this case regarding insurance their is a point to the keyed ing. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk
  8. Depending on some insurance companies its a requirement for thief coverage. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk
  9. That sucks. Had the same happen a few years ago. Shitty twist I got my 250r back but was slapped in the face with a lawsuit for bodily harm and lost wages. My dog took two chunks out of him forearm and calf just above the knee. It ended up getting thrown out due he could not prove a lost income and was trespassing with posted signs. Still cost me, still make me smile known he has a limp. It sucks but karma is a birch. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk
  10. As stated above. For reference for squish as we used the same builder and pump gas head 0.062 size solder Squish at cylinder wall 0.53 and 0.55 towards spark plug both cylinders. This measurement was using an oem base gasket and timing set as 0 degrees. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk
  11. If you haven't pulled your motor yet I went through my build book to see what I ended up with for a squish reading since we used the same builder with almost same set up. 0.062 size solder Squish at cylinder wall 0.53 and 0.55 towards spark plug both cylinders. This won't help your current situ but some more info to compare. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk
  12. Did you have your pod filters on when you made the video. Have read in a different post of filters with outerwear that were over oiled was a cause of not reving out under load. It's not much help other then something to check. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk
  13. Was hard to tell exhaust smoke looked a tad white, have you looked in your rad to see if your coolant has dropped. I had some issues syncing carbs with the peep windows and the lock jam nut turning. If you have access to a sync tool, sync carbs with it to be sure. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk
  14. Does it sound like a hollow bog when it starts acting up past 1/4 throttle with no acceleration Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk
  15. Your set up seems pretty much the same as mine. I to also have HJR MX porting with a chariot heat with 20cc domes, but with FMF fatties. Your compression does seem a bit low as I have between 155 to 160 psi and our elevation is pretty much the same. I started out with the jetting recommendations which are the same in your post from builder. I was running into the same issue that you are describing, of falling off or not reving. After some jetting trials and chops I ended up with 27.5 pilots, AC one turn out, 340 mains, clip in 3rd groove if running oem needle. Plug gapped at 20. Did you check the squish when you assembled top end and leak test. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk
  16. What is wrong with ppl. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk
  17. Good to know. As a buyer I would never expect free shipping! But back to the OP did you end up using old hardware for your bolt holes. If you can run a tap in them just in case some powder got in. I have a feeling you will have it back together before well be for may. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk
  18. This is what the guy went through here. Was a pain in ass at first but only has an issue now when a new officer ECT is around. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk
  19. I've should tried to buy those fenders. I didn't think he would ship up to Canada. Yea its going to look good for sure
  20. This is true. That the one thing the guy was say when he first started to ride his banshee in Belleville. He was pulled over every day he took it out. Never fined as it legit, but there is a communication breakdown between the policing services, the MOT and the insurance companies. The police are just doing their job as they don't know the legality of ATV on road use. But he said he only gets pulled over now when there have been new hires ECT that don't know. 21. Lol yea I saw them in the back. I think its going to look great.
  22. Love the all black. All red fenders? I hope Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk
  23. There is only one road legal or (blue plated) banshee that I have personally seen here in Ontario Canada it had the following done to it to get blue plated 1.Must have a key to enable/disable motor ignition 2. Must have a parking break which comes stock on a banshee which is cable activated on top of the hydraulic brakes. 3. Must have front and back indicators for left and right turns. 4. Must have a battery to power the hazards lights if you break down on side of road. 5.Must have a rear brake lights that comes on when you apply the the brakes. (My 2007 has that stock) not sure what years the rear brake light come on. If yours does not have it you will need to order the parts and wiring harness for it. 6. Float you stator ground so you can charge the battery for your lights and hazards lights. 7. Horn 8. Rear mirror 9. Catch bottles for overflow of rad, carbs etc ( not needed to pass MOT but anything helps) 10. Road tires 11. Full fenders as you know. Road use is limited to non Kings highway use so you can only use roads that have a posted speed limit of 80Km/hr. I'm sure there are differences between regulations but this is what it takes here. At least here once your bike is deemed road safe insurance is the next battle, tough to find any insurance company who with insure the bike for both on road or off road use. You may be forced to pick the use of the bike, which means you will need two. One for road use only and one for play which is a win win Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk
  24. If you haven't gotten the size just for the uni filter flange I should be home tomorrow and can get the measurement if you still need it. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk
