An I see a lot of guys go around an get port jobs an they don't realize the motor is going to get hotter due to the extra port diameter an dimensions so I'd recommend getting a cool head as well.

Also after a port job be sure to rejet your carbs don't want to blow it up from starvation of fuel.

An I can't stress this enough make sure to leak down test it after you assemble the motor, don't want to blow it up from a air leak causing a lean condition then you will be back at square 1.

If you get a port job make sure you get your crank welded too don't want it to separate from the extra hp.

If I was getting my cylinders ported I'd go with fast or redline make no mistake about it.
