  1. Maybe making a bigger hole on the bracket and fit an offset bushing? Shit, i'm looking forward to get mine!!
  2. The side if the outside case is hitting the bracket when trying to align the holes?
  3. Different strokes for different folks i guess!
  4. Yes and no. That's not the ultimate goal. I'm going to do a cooling head, so i need basics measurements to put 'standard/commercial' dome in it. Plus, i have no idea about dome theorie/shape by now, that will help.
  5. If it take a bushing or something like that, i will make them and send a couple to ya. To complete the ac/dc converter, all you need is this : https://www.fairchildsemi.com/products/power-management/voltage-regulators/positive-voltage-linear-regulators/LM7812.html 1$ i think...so i will put the wiring online soon.
  6. What do you mean?? hole in the light smaller and not munch material to make it bigger??
  7. Not, that munch. In fac, i should have gone directly to our electrical engineering dep. I tried to do it by myself, but ran into the voltage peak problem. They already solve the problem for me ;-) i will post the update soon. Making stuff, for me, is a hobby of his own. I didnt bought my Shee to only ride it, i bought it as a long term project and my goal is to have as munch parts made by me as i can on it. I also have the 'privilege' to use top of the line cnc and software. Serioulsy, would you do the same?
  8. I laughed too ;-), that's a good one.
  9. You're not into making your own stuff, i get it. Mine will work perfectly too.
  10. The ac is regulated, but not the output dc. I taught that it should be ok, but i saw some voltage peak this week end when testing. That's why i told to wait for further tests. I'm working on one with a small regulator. Some people told me they run it without regulator at all, but i dont think it's safe.
  11. Right now, i dont have the knowledge to do so. I mean, easy to CNC for sure, but i have no knowledge about the shape of the dome. But dont worry, it's just a question of time.
  12. 16 cc are too small. But i can do your adapter, just pay shipping. Send me the drawing.
  13. Domes are about volume. The less volume they have, more compression you will get. That's the easy part. Now, what do do you need for your setup, compression wise? pump gaz, race gaz, engine config etc. That's a lot of parameters to deal with. So, that's why, you will get this answer most of the time: Ask your builder.
  14. Look ok. The plus/minus on the dc side, make sure de capacitor side with a white strip is pluged to NEGATIVE, or it will blow. Check the output dc voltage, if you have peak, wait before pluging your leds.
  15. I think we got the same setup. I'am waiting mine to do some tests. I do have to test it with 'real' loads (the leds), i'm not sure, maybe i will have to add some thing to 'regulate' a little bit the voltage. Even if it's regulated on the ac side, i saw some voltage peak on the dc side this week end when doing tests. Someone told me he run his setup without regulating the voltage, dc side, but i think it's safer to regulate it. Wait a couple of days, i will do the final tests. How munch US$$ did it cost you so far??
  16. Standard stroke/bore, pro design style. 18 to 24cc, used or new. Thx!
  17. i bought those on ebay. I got to a local parts dealer and that was like 40$ each!!! I said that i can get 2 of those for about the same price...so i ordered ebay one.
  18. Man, people were talking about ac/dc 3 pages ago... Just wanna show how to do the AC/DC converter you need to be on dc for 10$. Sorry that offended you.
  19. Nope, i tested the AC/DC converter i made for it.
  20. Tests done! Pics of the parts and pic of the results (oscillioscope), STOCK stator and 2x30W LED
  21. Me too and i did a little DC converter, the exact same copy as the one they sell on ebay for 50$....It cost me 10$..... 1 full wave bridge and 1 capacitor..... Will post a pic later.
  22. What have you build/make already?? I'm not talking about unbolting stuff, buy new one, and re bolt it. My 12 years old kid can do that.
