  1. Sure, remeber when i was talking about stifness to weight ratio?? That was exactly what i was talking about. Carbon fiber have a way higher ratio than Ti or Aluminium. But i have zero knowledge about making carbon fiber parts.
  2. You are right. At the same time, in many tops racing machine, there is a lot of carbon fiber or titanium parts. There is a lot of brains and r&d on those machines. The banshee world cant afford that and the old school mentality is not helping either. I know some people will not like that, but they need lots of engineering to go next step imho, not just 'experience'
  3. It's even easier to see if cf is damaged than aluminium, it crack and/or delaminate... Pretty easy to see.
  4. '....fuck boi infested cesspool' He got me there... Someone can translate it for me? 'cause if it's a good insult, i want to keep it in my repertory lol!
  5. Not at all. I was agreeing with the group. You take the flag, rotate it 90 and you got what Tyler post at first. There is no logic ti keep the top left corner, not at all. Envoyé de mon GT-P5113 en utilisant Tapatalk
  6. It's a simple linear interpolation. It cant be other wise, math wise. Envoyé de mon GT-P5113 en utilisant Tapatalk
  7. Bill did a rules of three. You took the time to do a linear interpolation juste to be right by 1 hp? Lol! Envoyé de mon GT-P5113 en utilisant Tapatalk
  8. I have no problem doing r&d, 3d model, fea/cfd. That's my day to day job. But I have about zero knowledge about 'making' carbon fiber parts. I can put a couple of layers together, I even had a small vacuum baging unit for my rc airplanes wings. But I cant go further than that. The good new is that Tricked found a good suplier for carbon block, but they are $$$ to play with. Envoyé de mon GT-P5113 en utilisant Tapatalk
  9. Real man use stock length swigner, period. ;-)
  10. I removed material in the vertical part. The rest is just matching the 2 surfaces Envoyé de mon GT-P5113 en utilisant Tapatalk
  11. Job finished! I smoothed everything together.
  12. Ditch the cross over tube while you're at it. Buy non cross over intake. Envoyé de mon GT-P5113 en utilisant Tapatalk
  13. I will do the finishing touch monday. I did it with a dremel. I first make a chamfer, close to my line, then did the vertical part to match the chamfer. I will remove a little more material at a couple of place and smoth the transition between the old and the 'new' porting. Envoyé de mon GT-P5113 en utilisant Tapatalk
  14. Bill did the matching of the gaskett/cyl. It match great too. Envoyé de mon GT-P5113 en utilisant Tapatalk
  15. The banshee scene seems a little bit behind, technology wise. Envoyé de mon GT-P5113 en utilisant Tapatalk
  16. What? Engineer at University know nothing, they dont have Real Life expérience.
  17. Will work a little bit on the transition.
  18. Job done. I could get some.more material, but i want a little bit of a safe margin.
