  1. There were no dents in the piston or head from a piece of the dual stage reed, Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
  2. Lol, it didn't really have a knock, was more like a tick right before it was hot , Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
  3. The first few times, it was so, so, ran fine at idle and 1/2, throttle up, it did it once after getting it dialed in, I don't think I had the plug tight, I was also running b8 plugs, run b9 now I thought it had a detonation problem, there were no signs of it when I had the head off then Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
  4. Lol, not ass hurt, I learned from trial and error, dude just needs to understand that my plug coming out wasn't from detonation, I was way off on jetting. I guessed on my needles and was way off, started with ccj needles and 165 mains, idled great, ran great wide open, ran hot, on slow cruise and racing up Oldsmobile hill it would occasionally spit the plug on the right cylinder, I thought I wasn't getting it tight enough so I bought the plug lock, I had to take my head off while in the tuning stage when I took my reed cages off to put in v force 4's, I found part of a reed had broken off and went through the cylinder. When I pulled the head off, I seen that the piston was slightly hitting the head, not enough to do damage, but enough to have no carbon buildup, so I took the head back to the shop, had it rechambered, still keeping my 165 psi compression, talked to the shop about what needle jets to run, since the ccj needles were way too rich too early, he told me try dgk needles, and if I need a leaner hit run cel needles, I didn't know about this forum until much later after the school of hard knocks was let out. 5. Fuck off zilla freak, show up at glamis one holiday weekend, and I'll show you when bike hands you your ass on a platter... Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
  6. I found out I had the wrong needles in it when I had the head off having it cut a little deeper, so once I put it back together it was good, had to do some fine tuning with clip height and a couple jet sizes leaner than when I put it together. Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
  7. My plug came out because my jetting was all wrong, New build, wrong needles, wrong jets, I changed jetting, put in CEL needles, leaner jets, problem solved, old needles was giving too much fuel too early, Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
  8. Wow, what a douchebag you are, you're a special kind of stupid aren't you? Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
  9. What bullshit? Kinda funny that OCTANE had nothing to do with the plug backing out, it did it on the right side only, never on the left. I had a bone stock Polaris 400 do it once, Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
  10. Oh really? Who the fuck are you to talk shit? I'll put my 4 mil against your bike any day of the fucking week asshole, Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
  11. Oh really? So you know all there is to know about banshees? Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
  12. Once you start raising the compression, things like plugs backing out becomes fairly common, my 4 mil use to do it, got trinity racing's plug lock, no more issues, my buddies 421 does it, I had a similar issue, when they cut the domes, they did not cut quite enough, as the engine warmed up, the pistons started hitting the head, causing a slight knock, it wasn't enough to do damage, but enough to make noise, had the head cut another .20 thousandths been great ever since, Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
  13. It's sounds to me like it may not be a Yamaha axle none of my shees have ever had a clip holding the nut in place, sounds like it may be a Honda axle or something else, as for mine, yes the nut does like to come loose sometimes, I tighten the shit out of it and it will eventually backs off over time, of course I am almost 3 times stock hp, try using a pipe wrench with a cheater bar and see if that works Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
  14. I built my 4 mil out of Jim's stuff, my buddies 421 wishes his bike would do what mine can Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
  15. Some people are picking up a Honda 450r rolling chassis and putting a banshee engine in it Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
