  1. WHAT JETS ARE IN IT?? pilot needle type and clip position and main jet
  2. did this issue just start? what needle are you running? toomey needle or stock? have you tried every clip on the needle? and how does it run wide open throttle
  3. exactly. why you think its called a banSHEE not a banhee FLORIDA what is your current jetting on your setup, what carbs and pipes
  4. put that 50 pilot on the wire wheel on a bench grinder and clean it off. as long as the threads are good idc throw it in wont matter as long as the passages are clear.. and btw pwk carbs dont measure the same as far as float height that south texas banshee video is only for stock carbs. its 16 mm but dont bother buying the stupid tool to measure float height. put gas line on the inlet and blow through it, push the float up till air stops, float should be parallel with gasket surface when it shuts off, boom done. isnt this a brand new built and first start?? reeds shouldnt be bad. sounds carb related. btw that 160 will likely be too much main, might need a few sizes smaller, but get your starting issue figured out first
  5. just buy a new round house style wing arm. I have a JL engineering swingarm and apparently his MX swingarms hold up very well.
  6. if your getting some spark then dump fuel in the cylinders see if it fires if it does its a carb issue. 125 is usually stock compression around that I doubt that its an athena with 24 cc domes so its probably tired but it should still fire at that psi id imagine.
  7. if you never need to choke it to start it there's your sign
  8. hold throttle wide open, use a good tester not a cheap 20$ dollar tester and kick it hard till the gauge wont move any more. must use same end as stated above. this should give you an accurate reading unless you are living at 7k
  9. you looking for rear or front? I have a buddy with a set of stock rims and tires
  10. claude loves america more than yall think
  11. Step one: run what ever oil you want Step two: Mix the gas 1 gallon of oil to one gallon of gas
  12. My primaries arent testing out and is breaking up intermittently in high rpms and under load. Pretty sure I need a new one because I am running the same jetting I did last year. Going to try my buddies out tomorrow to for sure rule it out, but as of now Im pretty sure ill need one. Paypal ready. Looking for a newer year coil and wires. benny where you at
  13. i wish. i sure hope the premium here is non eth. apparently if you pour a certain amount of water into gas the ethanol with separate to the bottom and then you can syphon it out from the bottom, guess it lowers the octane level though idk. saw it in some youtube video prolly saying it wrong
  14. and then sent him additional money voluntarily after shipping was more than he thought. i guess i made my comment pre maturely i havent dealt with the peeps on facebook and craigslist in a while but now that I think of it, ive encountered some real idiots on there when selling stuff.
  15. hmm, good points ^. I re-dact my cprevious comment. Continue.
  16. good luck selling your bike with an attitude like that. who cares if they dont know. they got money to buy? good you can take it then. like people care about wasting time to respond when they waste as much time scrolling instagram and facebook then try and act like their time is valuable
  17. how much did the run on the frame for silver vein
  18. I bet if half the people with healthy running bikes pressure tested their motors they would have little leaks here and there. With that said, use 3 bond on every surface if it bothers you that much. cylinder face, both sides of 1st gasket, on reed block perimeter, and both faces of the last gasket.
  19. skeet with some actual good advice, bravo. if you are at 160 psi you wanna run 100 octane if you are 155 or under you can just run straight premium. Do you have advanced timing also fyi some nerd info if you are going to mix octanes the formula to figure out octane is A. octane rating (110) x percent mixed (.4) = X (44) + B. octane rating (93) x percent mixed (.6) = Y (99.8), Then add the sums of A and B thats the formula using a standard 5 gallon can. 16 oz of oil with that would be a 40:1 premix ratio
