  1. I figured, seems like the logical thing to do, just thoughts id ask before I start cutting stuff. Claude sent me a pm saying u can cap em too. whats best to cap with?
  2. Simple question, but I picked up a pair of black ceramic coated T5s for 130 bucks off craigslist for a flip project I just picked up. The pipes have inserts for egt sensors on them. This is something that I will not be using, do I need to block these things off somehow to run these pipes? idk how these work.
  3. This is the only place you can buy brand new pv cheetahs. https://www.mcdermottracing.com/banshee-accessories
  4. I wonder if he was able to get stamps yet to put on the box to send you your pipes usually the post office has them ill let them know
  5. you also thought you were at plus 4 timing last year too lol jk
  6. remove spark plug, place penis in spark plug hole, then kick over

  8. My buddy needed a bigger pilot than what we thought on his trail ported 350 on pump gas. Ended up at a 35 pilot.
  9. I honestly prefer the stockers over my 35s for my trail setup. The throttle response is instant and the bike is literally always in the power it seems like. On pump with stockers it still makes 73 horse and 44 torque. I switched from race fuel to pump as well as carbs so the power doesnt hit as hard obviously but my mpg rocks and it will still do 80mph quickly if i need to.
  10. That is not true. Bigger carbs is what is going to have the most impact on your mpg. I ran 35 pwks on my 421 setup and it drank gas I got maybe an hour on a tank if I was lucky. I just switched to stock carbs (even though its not the ideal carb for peak HP) and the mpg gas improved drastically. But the answer to your question is no.
  11. did you test your stator already too? and electrical components? I gap mine at .018. you do a plug chop already?
  12. Depends. What type of gas do you want to run? If you want to run race fuel you need to be making 170 psi of compression before you do. What domes do you have in right now and where is your compression at?
  13. trim some wire off of your spark plug wires about 1/4 inch then plug boots back on, try again. also make sure your pick up coil gap is set correctly. I set mine at .018
  14. Both plugs fire at the same time. Only the side you take the cap off of the plug should shut off. Why do you ask? Are you trying to diagnose a spark issue?
  15. so the whole time your plugs weren't gapped right?
  16. Doesn't matter if the rings are sealed you aren't getting an extra 40 psi from sealed rings lol. There is your problem without a doubt. During the test your are holding the throttle wide open and kicking the hell out of it until the needle stops?
  17. again? what was it when you checked it after the re build? You should be at least 170 psi in each cylinder with compression with that 110 gas. If not that will explain a part of your problem. Carl does top notch work.
