  1. my buddy has the alba ones, I personally hate nerf bars or anything added to the peg area, but that's just me, the less on my bike the better. How do those tires work? they hook well?
  2. There is no reason for any of us here to explain this when we have THIS. This thread right here has everything you will need to know about your build. God speed friend. Here is the link.
  3. How old are you? Sent from my LGMS210 using Tapatalk
  4. It most likely has a stroker crank is what he is saying. Highly unlikely it has a 4 stroke engine it in. Depends on how much u are wiing to put into it alex. Whats the budget? Sent from my LGMS210 using Tapatalk
  5. That went all over his head ^ Sent from my LGMS210 using Tapatalk
  6. In all seriousness. All that money is going to be better spent on controls and suspension and tires. Then rebuild ur stock motor, have a it ported, mod ur head for more compression and throw some timing at it. Sent from my LGMS210 using Tapatalk
  7. A 521 on spray for an mx banshee is an excellent idea. Sent from my LGMS210 using Tapatalk
  8. Carb syn, float level. Stuff like that can be an issue too but not from ur paticular issue Sent from my LGMS210 using Tapatalk
  9. To me only thing that kills it is those blue rims lol. Sent from my LGMS210 using Tapatalk
  10. Tors delete is very easy no need to worry. And thats the idle screw not air screw lol dont grind that down!! Sent from my LGMS210 using Tapatalk
  11. so you fixed the issue by gapping your spark plug differently and you want to know WHY this fixed the issue? hard to understand how you wrote it. but if this is the case. Take a look at this thread.
  12. First start up Sent from my LGMS210 using Tapatalk
  13. from what I can tell from looking at a graph, once the power starts coming on around 7k it sucks to ride in the trails and dunes lol
  14. 392 driveline big bore. if you set it up for pump gas around 150 psi with some timing and stock carbs with a good set of pipes you can make low 70s HP and have a nice bike for the dunes that will have great mpg and be a blast to ride. I have their 421 setup with slp pipes so I know first hand.
  15. Did u develop a small case of tourettes in the process? Sent from my LGMS210 using Tapatalk
  16. payment plan, I wanna see this thing in action. you start it yet? whats the status???
  17. rebuild the top end pressure test motor for air leaks start it up make sure there are no leaks any where ride it down the road make sure it shifts through all the gears fine. Then hammer down! a lot of guys on here will say you need to break the motor in before riding it hard and then you have some who will do heat cycles and what not before. If you wanna take that route it should only take a couple hours to "break it in."
  18. That's the plan.. Its bored .020 over stock with pro lites, macdaddy pancake bearing, all new stock clutch components, idler gear, all new bottom end seals, compulsive concepts harness behind the gas tank cdi kill switch tether, ceramic coated t5s polished silencers, extended axle. Should be a nice little stock bike, nothing special obviously but good for someone just starting out or looking for a base to build off of.
  19. Nobody cares but im still updating this lol it has spark so good to know the flywheel and cdi wasnt junk either. Trying to shoot for first start up tomorrow. Sent from my LGMS210 using Tapatalk
  20. if he put a super small pilot jet in there, maybe. a 25 pilot should be all you need right now for it being a stock motor with just t6s. 120 ish is stock compression so you are looking fine with compression. Id go through the carbs and while you have them off, see what jets are in it and do a pressure test to see if you have an air leak some where. To test for an air leak you have to take the pipes off and plug/block the exhaust ports and make yourself a pressure tester for the intakes.
  21. Don't take it to a shop. When I got back into the banshee game ( had been out 6 years almost) I felt like a newb and like I knew nothing. Ive honestly spent more time on here and have learned more from here than reading the clymers manual. (it is helpful though and I would still get it) Ive also reached out to other members for help. Just be patient and read as much as you can and you will know your machine inside and out. This site literally has anything you need to know you just have to search. As far as tools? what do you have? -metric wrenches and sockets and T handle allen head wrenches are what you are going to use often. -impact driver is helpful for stubborn bolts on older machines -a good brand electric impact gun or compressor air gun is helpful -torque wrench (calibrated) -digital multimeter -a pressure tester for your motor to rule out air leaks ( can be home made very easily and cheap) -snap ring pliers that's all I can think of off the top of my head right now that I use often. as far as your problem, is your choke tube connected between your carbs? could be an air leak too. first thing I would do if I was your is invest in a TORS delete kit
  22. is the polished clutch side cover still available?
