  7. It was wet as hell there today. Rained all morning before we got there. The sand/gravel was wet, deep and heavy. The hills was like driving through quick sand. If u stopped ur bike just sank. Not ideal riding conditions but overall it was a fun day:) http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/59e266ad22a8c/20171014_140211.mp4 Sent from my LGMS210 using Tapatalk
  8. ditch that crap and go stock and just use your timing plate. less electrical and less thinking and yes ive never ran one but I hate more wires on my bike than I need.
  9. Id start with syncing carbs first, using a tool is really the best way to get them perfect at idle. you can get em pretty close with out it, but syncing them at idle is with a tool is best. like mull said cleaning carbs and syncing would be a good place to start. https://www.amazon.com/Latest-Rage-Deluxe-Carburetor-Airflow/dp/B00CMC57R0/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1507940497&sr=8-4&keywords=carb+sync+tool -how I usually rule out an electrical problem is I will first trim back the wires on the secondary leads so the are fresh -then ohm test all electrical components with multi meter (stator, coil, plug caps etc) check wireharness. are you just breaking this motor in?

  14. not you, I meant the guy right above me, salmon man
  15. That's not usually how it works. Its this 1. buy banshee for 2 grand off craigslist 2. dump 8 grand into it after it gets boring
  16. I have some red fast fibers that ive been trying to sell. perhaps your could want them or not want them too
  17. usually someone that spends 10k on a bike is not putting it around just taping on the gas. except for claude. also that guy above you was trolling im pretty sure, if not his post was a wtf post
  18. im with sleeper, would have been MUCH easier to split the cases to redo the transmission. I know its intimidating at first if you have never done it, but as long as you do it right and look up how to a full bottom end assembly, its very very easy. Maybe u can sell ur current non running motor and use the money to fix ur one with the known issues that you know runs. just my 2 cent or just figure out what wrong with it, maybe its a small issue. test electrical like sleeper suggested above
  19. Yes they have them. They are located on the left side on the motor. remove foot peg, shifter with a 12mm wrench, then remove stator cover. boom, theres the fly wheel, u need a puller to pull it off (u can order one easily)
  20. I wanna see the video. post it. also you can build a leak down tester super cheap and easy to rule out air leaks
