  2. I restored an 87 last year stock motor with wisecos. pods, timing and t5s. stock pilot, 290 main (was a little rich too), middle on the needle. Dont waste your money on a single carb setup because you havent figured it out yet. you will get it, see it through

  4. whats the temp like where you are at right now? hot and humid? im assuming you have the stock needles in there?

  6. -did you pressure test the motor for air leaks because that sounds slightly rich for that setup. Also what needle What is your compression/ fuel your running as well. Ported motor?
  7. your elevation is 1500 asl I would put in a stock pilot with the air screw 1 to 1.5 turns out like i suggested on your last thread, and put your needle in the middle and try it
  8. No problem good luck hmu if you make a trip there Pretty sure I got the jetting dialed in now with 50 pilot 2 turns out on the air screw CEL needle on 2nd clip 155 main. Have not chopped the main yet but I chopped a 150 when it was about 30 degrees cooler and it was lean so now its hot with a couple sizes bigger it should be pretty close.

  10. I second this. also looks like you mushroomed the bolt end any ways you will have to get a new one be sure to lube that baby up nxt time you slide it it, a lot of people will drill small holes in the bolt and then fit a zerk in the end to lube it.
  11. i was talking with lane about this one time because i was saying how much all 3 look alike and he said when you dnyo them its goes shearer, vito, power pros. and they are all pretty close looking.
  12. They are basically shearers, great pipes... iirc mat had some kind of hand in helping develop those pipes before his came out. I could be wrong on that don’t recall specifically
  13. btw do you self a favor and DONT re use rivets in your end caps.. Just tap the silencer end cap and use some allen cap heads to bolt em back on. Easier to install and remove your "spark arrestor" that way.

  15. i wouldnt worry. i drive 3 hrs too never had an issue. u have a truck? you can always load your truck up and drive it into the dunes
  16. Nope, i didnt have any issues, and they were checking everyone for spark arrestors at the gate, i used sink screen in my silencers and they passed no problem. Didnt get tested for sound.
