  3. lol jd you goof, i wanna start mountain biking though looks fun. anyways. i used a crap ton of blue not red, pretty sure it ant coming out because i tried to screw it out and couldnt get it to budge.
  4. OP do silver vein, it looks so cool in person and goes great with red. i just re did mine this last year and did all gloss black only reason because it was a budget build but if i had the coin at the time i would a done silver vein

  6. Ive had an issue that has happened twice now. After i got my tranny back from tyson it has been great, pro mod was a good choice for me. But, a while back I noticed i couldnt find neutral anymore and was hanging on some gears, so naturally i thought the eccentric screw needed adjusting, wrong. I took everything off and the shift star screw came out along with the dowel pin and the star came way out of alignment. I put the dowel pin and screw back in tighten it up and this past ride same thing happened. My question is , how the hell do you tighten that screw down hard enough so it dont come out? can I put in it first gear ( so the drum wont turn) and use a 20v drill to hammer it down a tad? whats the best way to do it aside from splitting the cases.
  7. out of the box yes they are junk but they can be cleaned up to make it run right idk about how optimal though, but a cheap fix in the right hands from what ive read (with good pistons) i wouldnt run them, but also if your planning on this being a bigger motor like a 10 or something and you arent going to run those 28s a guy in the FS section is looking might be able to help fund your build. pics??

  10. oh okay gotchya, I had it on my old tranny that was not a promod but my new pro mod tranny i had to replace my drum and it doesnt have that on it now and i havent noticed a difference really btw tyson is who told me that got any pics of said bike
  11. ive been told by a reputable tranny guy that does banshees that the drum bearing on the opposite end of the shift star does virtually nothing. not hating just wondering what your though is on it
  12. Id wonder how a set of 28s would do. no that I plan on running them, but I bet you could trail it better with 28s, I did stockers on a 4 i think 28s on a 7 would be do able without choking it too much.

  14. the power delivery is going to be a lot different coming from a stock motor with pipes, to a 4 mil with added compression and what not. The power will come on a lot harder. Also, your still running stock carbs, reeds, pump gas and toomeys. There is a lot left on the table for power with changing those 3 things. and that was just a guess of what it will be making, you will probably be in the low 70s or close to that now that i think of it. my advice dont get all hung up over dyno numbers. they mean little imo. its a different story if you ride it though and its turd (which wont be the case with your new setup) i can promise you that.
  15. prolly high 60s. you will love it. very fun setup i kinda miss mine. i had slp pipes but it was a blast for trails and climbing sand
  16. I’d start with a 370 depending on how hot or cold it is. 35 pilot air screw 1 turn out needle on the 4th
  17. Yes a 4 mil with stock carbs will be thirsty you will need big jets to feed it. Don’t run those jets in it you have now lol
  18. Toomey or Vito’s needle 32.5-37.5 pilots 340-360 mains needle in middle all motor are different but this is about where I was. 370 in cooler weather
  19. more than likely your 3 transmission bearings are fine just make sure they move good
