  1. -first things first. Test compression to see if a rebuild is warranted. (looks like you already did that) -if so, then choose a site sponsor on here to send you cylinders to, to have them bored honed and set you up with the right pistons. Get you some fmf headers off the BHQ facebook swap page -280 -290 jet when its warm, 25-27.5 pilot should be good. sync carbs and adjust air fuel screw accordingly, stock carbs 26mm, delete all electrical crap that you dont need and get a new harness from komplusive concepts (site sponsor) -then once you get bored with the power it makes and wanna open your check book up, decide how much you wanna spend and prepare for the power addiction to begin

  3. i think i commented on your facebook post as well about this, but anything that you get you will be happy with because you will be getting more rpms for your wide open riding so i say look for shearers or cpis and buy what ever is cheapest. slps are great for the right application for sure but going from slps to shearers you can feel the lack of over rev, again not a bad thing. slps are great for sand riding btw.
  4. did you pull the head off to verify the dome o ring was good on the right side? also are you backing plugs out while riding? I had this exact issue happen and it was a pinched o ring when I re installed my domes. and it was eating coolant on the right side, same symptoms that you are experiencing. If you havent slapped it all back together seal them o rings in real good with new ones with grease or vaseline if you can and torque that head to spec 22 lbs
  5. cool head with 120 psi seems low sure that number is right? most people will throw smaller domes in with a cool head might wanna verify dome size
  6. let it idle for 5 mins? pre mix will be a black color, gear oil will be a dark clear ish color, like golden color. an extremely smokey right side is usually an indicator of a blown crank seal, the motor will suck transmission into the cylinder
  7. i saw your other post about lots of oil in the exhaust, id check and see what kind of oil it is, it might be tranny fluid being sucked through right crank seal. if thats the case do not ride it and the issue needs to be addressed asap but its easy ish to fix, a pressure test would find out if its the crank seal, see if its coolant first though. also how does it run??
  8. how does it run? if its running like crap and smoking like a mother and has tranny fluid leaking out the back of the silencer, your right crank seal is gone. if it runs okay still, I would say it your dome o ring letting coolant in.
  9. keihin doesnt make 32s 28 33 35 if it sucks starting and takes a million kicks but compression and all that stuff is good then you might need a bigger pilot jet
  10. does it start easy and run worse when warmed up? thats a rich jetting condition. 32 keihins? are they 28s bored?
  11. 2-3 sizes smaller should put you where you need to be when its hot, then fine tune with the air/fuel screw (IN = rich, more fuel, OUT= less fuel) going from 50 degrees to 80 will warrant the AF screw to be adjusted
  12. you talking about the YBN chains? yes i used it for a long time until I left it out stupidly all winter and it seized up. ive had good luck with primary drive chains as well
  13. 4200 is a good deal. but I dont think ill ever sell mine either, ill prolly just end up collecting them like HP
  14. honestly I would just wait till you get your tors kit and pipes in the mail and get it figured out, you are going to have to adjust the idle differently with the tors kit anyways. just my 2 cent. 320 jet should be fine for cooler weather depending on how cold it is out. this is def a mild winter
  15. I wouldnt even bother with it until you get your new pipes on
  16. yeah they are a good investment. You can mod your head to take different size domes. My friend has one, and I have their billet head as well.
  17. riding a fast banshee that controls like crap and rides hard as hell, is no fun to ride. All good suggestions above
  18. first things first, depend on how much money you want to spend on this, because that will determine what you can do. If not, you can spend an unlimited amount of $
  19. bone stock ? 370 main 37.5 pilot air screw all the way in, now you're really safe for winter, ps wont run
  20. x2 martin wish you would have texted me before you bought that thing lol those stock carriers are complete junk and not to mention a PAIN!!! to adjust the chain.
  21. 10? lol get a 4, it will help with keeping the front end down at a drag strip on the sand. I have a stock length arm and launching at the drag strip is hard because im fighting the front end down until 5th gear. Also, JL engineering makes nice arms for a good price, id contact JL engineering, stellar racing or fireball, JL will be the cheapest out of the 3 with nice quality.
