  1. I need them, for inframe small bores and I have money
  2. get an ohm meter and ohm the stator, red to green and white green to white red. ohm primary and secondary leads on coil and caps, caps should be 5k ohm. if all checks out then most likely cdi, try and find working parts to swap with if you have a buddy with a banshee. check harness for boo boos and sure primary lead wires are clamped on tight! i made that mistake before.
  3. i doubt it will. i said starting points and also stated it will probably need less fuel. just wanted to over estimate since he has been abusing it on stock jets. if there is no porting or advancement or compression those are def embellished numbers my 4 mil driveline motor was a 37.5 pilot and 360 main on pump gas. ive yet to see a motor that needs as much pilot as mine did though.
  4. stock jets and pilots are absolutely the issue lol toomey or vitos needle should be what your using a 32.5 pilot or 35 should then dial in the air fuel screw accordingly 320 to 340 main im assuming you have porting with increased compression as well as that factors in to jetting. if not those are good starting points but will probably need less fuel if no porting or compression/timing
  5. ive never jetted 28s before but i have quite a bit experience with 35s a 45 pilot and 145 ish main sounds about right for starts maybe less main if its really humid. this might be on the rich side. jjh needles are most used with success with 28s. get pilot set first so its start and idles good then get main figured out, work needle last middle clip should be good to start.
  6. part by part is far more expensive. x3 on buying assembled. There was super cub 521 for sale here in MI for 6k just for reference.
  7. my point exactly just thought id ask why all the haters dont care for him besides the harness thing which i think is silly fyi i still buy my harnesses from kory
  8. lakes will make you the same type spark arrestors for your shearers you should be fine then
  9. some tips for you get some good spark arrestors for your inframes, they are getting a bit strict out there now days, DONT go on a holiday and ride in, they are testing shearers now during peak busy days for sound at the gate and i got kicked out this past year on memorial day, try and use your truck to drive it in, dont just jam some sink screen behind the end cap for a spark arrestor, PM me and ill give you some tips on that. they have a bunch of village idiots working there though they said i had 103 dbs on the test which would cause hearing damage, but still i know shearers dont pass. hell they failed a set of FMFS!!! there too. most of the sand is pretty sugary out there except for the beach area, and ive have good luck with paddle brats, they hook like a mother there, 21 inch tire 9 paddle, 14/41 gearing. I dont drag though 15/40 or 15/41 there would be good.
  10. are you riding silver lake?
  11. off topic now but dont care but id like to hear 3 good reasons whys kevin is not reputable BESIDES the fact that he capitalized on KCs harness, they have to be related to his "mechanic" skills, not he said this about hq etc go.
  12. driveline makes nice cranks i am running their 7 mil NOT billet ^ and have zero problems, lots of run time in the dunes
  13. no the test dont pressurize the tranny area
  14. locogato rent the site from claude now days he still rides has a stock bike with fmfs and a boost bottle its fast
  15. so is spending 1000 dollars to replace a dented a arm haaaaaa
  16. ya apparently if you are using a stock clutch setup you have to use those (ive never used a stock clutch) something to do with clutch chatter if i remember right if you are buying new (not oem) they wont even come with them therefore just do fiber steel fiber steel etc
  17. most people replace the bushings behind the clutch basket to eliminate the play, but man did I ever have a hard time removing the backing plate on a basket before, i destroyed the basket drilling the rivets out but thats because my drill walked, a drill press would be ideal. honestly ive read of people just leaving like that and that the have noticed no difference in having play or not, but if it were me I would just drill the rivets out, remove the gear and buy a billet basket for 160 from chariot and call it good.
  18. ive seen worse. plastics look good still just dirty does it turn over? you could check it for spark before you tear it down. also you can ohm the stator to see what it reads
  19. do you have pipes? if so you need more main jet
  20. i wouldnt rule out the stator or flywheel just cause its rusty, ive seen some that look like they came off the titanic still work. also wife > banshee lol
