  1. Everyone is going to ask the same questions and put an order in with Elka. Elka will then build and set up the shocks.
  2. I think he was giving another example of where rtv is used that it shouldn't.[emoji6]
  3. Stator is probably a 200w type with 2 lighting circuits that are being bridged together. Brown wire is just to plug more lights in. Just tape it up or cut out off.
  4. I've used Motoseal for several years on Jetskis and Banshee. But Threebond (1184, superceeds 1104&1194), 1211,1215, Yamabond, Honda Bond, (basically any brand name with the suffix -seal or -bond) all work well with many being Private label Threebond products. Seadoo uses/used Loctite 518 and catalyst to seal case halves. I've heard of people using Aviation gasket #3 also. RTV is not recommended for this application. The most popular are the Threebond, Motoseal, and (insert company name)bond products. edit: looks like possibly Yamabond 4 is Threebond 1184 FWIW
  5. Plastidip FTW. It is Uninflammorable, when cured. Before, curing, it is crazy flammoratable Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

  7. The best I can find is $65 ish. http://www.ebay.com/itm/251080909838 Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  8. Helicoil works fine, mine was helicoiled by previous owner. Might be able to get an oversize drain plug and just drill and tap. Don't know which is better. But mine is working fine.
  9. Same o-rings. If you are trying to use the domes from a stand bore cylinder, you'll need big bore domes with the Serval.
  10. Those are not Haulers. They are The Edges Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  11. You said it sat for 6 months. Any chance of a mouse nest in pipe? Also does it roll easily in neutral and in gear with the clutch pulled? Petcock clean? Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  12. Gasoline and a nylon brush. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  13. BUSA RIDER do you have RD350 motors or RD350LC motors? If they are RD350LC then the banshee lockup will work as both use the essentially the same clutch setup. http://www.rd350lc.net/Microfiches4L0-81.zip
  14. Crap, I was thinking rz350. I have no idea of the rd. My bad. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  15. Seat clips into the frame. not the plastic
  16. Back end will be narrower by 2 inches total. Kinda depends if that affects you or not.
  17. Sounds like the chemical dips for aluminum polishing is phosphoric acid. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  18. I grease it to hold it in place. Probably doesn't matter either way. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  19. What with all this talk about TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome) ?

  20. You'll want 2579CD rings. 1 set per piston Quickly glancing through Wiseco's catalog. It looks like all of their 2 stroke pistons of that size use the same rings. http://www.wiseco.com/Catalogs/Powersports/CompleteCatalog.pdf
  21. Maybe adjust the camber a little and see if it allows enough clearance.
  22. The pin for the connecting rod is moved 2mm out on the crankshaft web. This gives an additional 2mm up travel and an additional 2mm down travel of the piston. So 2mm+2mm=4mm Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
