You want 573 pistons. Also, just have redline add them to your order. Edit: yikes looks like Wiseco pistons may be out of stock most places. Or they have a $50 premium. Looks like FAST is subbing with Wossner which are good too.

I know it doesn’t make sense exactly, but some issues like this have been fixed by running a separate ground from the motor to the frame.

Just FWIW resistors come in different tolerance specs from +-1% to +-20%. I assume they are using low tolerance resistors for this application. As long as you are reading something, the spark plug cap is typically usable. They fail open circuit and you would get no reading.

Didn't know this was a problem. The transmission oil should leave enough coating on the plates that they do not rust. Do you by chance have coolant leaking into your oil? Is it milky? Aside from a coolant leak, consider changing oils and see if the rust problem goes away.

Check your brakes. Make sure they are releasing quickly. May have a stuck piston.

Its not the flywheel, stator, coil or plug wires as you stated that swapping the plug caps did nothing. I would check the new reeds that you installed. Make sure the petals are not chipped, broken, or installed wrong.

Brand new clutch kit? And you have 7 frictions and 6 steels? With the pressure plate on, do any of the frictions wiggle? I'm starting to think there is a ridge preventing the pack from compressing all the way.

The inner hub is trash, but you already knew that. It shouldn't prevent the clutch from engaging though. The pressure plate only seats all the way in every other hole. The pressure plate will sit away from the clutch pack of rotated 60 degrees, then if rotated 60 degrees again will sit flush againt the clutch pack.

Can you post some pictures of the assembly? Take the ring cushions out, part 17. Do not use them. Clutch slipping just at high RPM? Post motor mods, how much weight on the lockup. Is there slack at the clutch lever?

Well, looks like you have aftermarket reeds, pipes, filters and some porting. If you have still have the TORS system, I'd go ahead and remove that to simplify things. I'd go ahead and buy a couple jet sizes around what you currently have in the carbs, or at the least see what sizes are in there. This way you can adjust the carbs when the weather changes or you go somewhere like the dunes. Upgrading the suspension was probably the best thing I did. Otherwise, I'd ride it around and get used to it. Then decide what you are wanting from it or what is needing fixed and work towards that.

Heads grow hair sometimes and people sometimes cut the hair off, or a shaved head mills material from the stock head to increase compression. Bored carbs are carbs that sit around with nothing to do, or are carbs that have had the throat diameter increased a millimeter or two with a boring bar. Definitely get your over heating issue fixed before adding stuff.

Ope, my bad. Basically, I read this thread and am happy. I mostly ride dunes so went with a taller ride height. As far as sag goes, I think you shoot for 10-30% of shock travel.
