  1. I just checked the listing. It comes with a 12v inverter. Just connect that to your dc conversion on the banshee. The inverter will step it up to the correct voltage and frequency.
  2. El wire uses high frequency (like 2000 to 5000 hz) ac to illuminate. There are inverters that can power those off 2 AA batteries. Just look for a 12v inverter for el wire.
  3. Ignore him. Just replace the head gasket.
  4. I would look at how brp routes the cooling in the 2 stroke ski-doos. Should be at least a couple decades of innovation there compared to our 1970s motors.
  5. I know Jack shit about a dunable overide, other than there are springs in there somewhere that have to be adjusted correctly.
  6. I've been running a Dynatek for almost 2 years now. Works well
  7. Where is Thacker? He would definitely already have figured this out.
  8. I've had good luck with the volumized glass yarn types of packing. Seems to last. Doesn't blow out from one end like the insulation does. https://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/905/20051/Lexx-MXe-Premium-Silencer-Packing - I've used this and can get 2 shearer silencers out of 1 mat. I'm going to try the loose packing next time. http://areapnolimits.com/products/Muffler-Packing.php Loose packing - I'm trying this next. They use it with their carbon fiber exhausts. https://www.mooseracing.com/products/?productId=114528 Loose - https://www.bristolcore.com/category_s/125.htm The RaceTex or Spec 31 - They make a few different types. I believe Moose repackages this.
  9. If you are talking about the pusher nut, then the clutch pusher nut should be on the outside of the pressure plate.
  10. I bought a 10 pack of clutch cover gaskets from mattoon. Cheapest way to do it. Works out to 5.90 per gasket. You'll need them eventually.
  11. Hey sorry for the late reply. Had Midterms, been studying like crazy. Mine showing around 0.93 MOhms or 930,000 Ohms. It slowly changes, so there is probably a capacitor somewhere between the two wires changing the reading. I just checking in the Dyna software, the Launch RPM can be changed to anything, and default is 2600.
  12. I can check mine tomorrow. I can also make you a programming cable on Tuesday afternoon if i find the supplies left over from the last few i made.

Do squish test without gasket. Subtract that number from desired squish to get base gasket thickness.
  14. Its just not a popular option. No performance gains. That listing isn't great, but not terrible. I assume they are cleaned up niche cylinders. I wouldn't buy them. Id look for a set of oem cylinders and send them to be ported.
  15. I agree. Has to be coming from the pump cover. Tighten it up, dry the coolant off and check it again after running.
  16. I'm a big fan of loctite 243. Its an oil insensitive blue threadlocker. But yeah, spray the area down with brake clean.
  17. Just buy another set of pipes from him, that way you have spares.
  18. Definitely add a billet clutch basket. I shattered a cast one and its no fun having large chunks in your transmission. If you get a billet pump, make sure it has a hardened shaft like Mull or Chariot.
  19. There's a reason children use training wheels to learn how to ride a bike. I forget, you running a -1" ?
  20. Damn that sucks. You going to get a longer swingarm too?
  21. Yes. Cases should be a matched set. Also that seems expensive. Unmatched cases aren't worth anything to me, or a stock head. So if u trade them for the shocks you aren't really out anything.
  22. DDQs booty treasure was raided. Good to know, a locked tent is a must.
  23. One of the site sponsors sells ported chinese cylinders. I think AZ Parts or BP racing. You could ask them what they are getting HP wise.
  24. Buy a Clymers, watch some videos, ask some questions, do it yourself. Are you sure you need to tear it apart. Is it running poorly?
