  1. Have shearers gone down In quality? I've always heard great things, but if things have changed I see the CPI's as a viable alternative. I haven't been able to find any snipers or rockets online unless I'm looking in the wrong place or I just have to wait for a good used set to turn up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Cool I may take you up on that offer, I am also planning to go the 10 mil route eventually however that will be a while yet. Thanks for the reply! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. As the title states I'm stuck on which exhaust to buy for the Banshee... Currently it has Pro Circuit exhaust but its pretty beat up and I'm looking for something new. I have been seeing a lot on SLP pipes recently and as of now I think I'm between the SLP's and Shearer's unless someone can steer me in a better direction. I ride a little of everything but to be more specific I ride through some pretty open fast trails to get to power lines and sand pits and open fields where I do the majority of my riding climbing hills and general farting around. None of the trails are all that technical so losing some bottom end wouldn't be the end of the world which is why I was leaning towards the shearers, but I am open to advice/suggestions. The bike is a stock cylinder 4 mil ported with Vforce 4's...
  4. Yea, like I said its a nice bike but that's damn near what it cost brand new and its 9 years old... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. Update, I was away for a few weeks training for work so this weekend was my first chance to mess with the banshee. I changed mains to 320's switched to pump gas and threw on some vforce 4's and it ran way better than before. Still had a misfire on the left cylinder, though. I swapped wires and the misfire followed the wire so I pulled the boot off to find the cap inside was partially melted and the rod inside that is supposed to contact the snap ring for the plug was broken and jingling around inside so that looks to be the issue. Buying some NGK caps tomorrow and should be up and running! Thank you all for your help! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I want to get a set of these pipes after my deployment. I haven't found any videos with them but I'm curious to see how they sound. After seeing some dyno results I'm impressed and excited to compare these with my PC's
  8. I'll try switching to pump gas then. The plugs were about cinnamon color as you said, but they weren't wet. Ill be away for the next 2 weeks, but when i come back I plan to have a few different sets of jets waiting for me amongst other things. The guy I bought it off said it was drag ported, however I don't know how to tell the difference by looking. Thank you for your response.
  9. Needle is at 3rd clip and pilot is at 1.5 turns out I'll have to check what I have for pilots I overlooked that. Floats should be good I adjusted them recently unless I completely edged up somehow. I'll do a leak down test and see what happens. Thanks for your response. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Thank you, the link isn't working on my phone for some reason. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. New to the site and my Banshee and need help. I was riding my Banshee today and it started running like complete crap after a while and I have no idea what the issue is. It's a 99 according to the vin... I cleaned the carbs, TORS is gone, new spark plugs, 5N7 needle and 300 mains on a stock ported 4 Mil build at sea level running VP110. I recently bought the bike from someone that claims to have just rebuilt it. Checked the compression and its at 137 on each side and held it. My thoughts were either it needs a new coil, stator, or maybe just needs to be run on pump gas. Any suggestions would help. The video shows how it was running, mainly in high RPMs it would run like this. Down low its a bit laggy and mid its awesome but up top it seems to crap out...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brqrZQ8-9wk&feature=youtu.be
  12. Long shot, but If you still have the seat in two weeks I will grab it.
  13. My frame is a 99 but I have no clue about the engine... 3gg-151967. Definitely interested to find more info.
