I bought this for the next rebore..First time buying wsm. Now on tkrj rd 350 LC cast piston with .0012" clearence

I was expecting a recommended clearence between .0012 to .0016"

Well I'm just confused...it's the first time I'm hearing a manufacturer recommended such a big clearence for a cast piston in an aircooleds motor.

I called Chris.. He said 4000!! So asked again what 4000 ? He said .004

Oem rd 350 aircooleds came with art Pistons and clearence was 35 microns ...

Surfrjag are u sure it's for aircooled rd 350 clearence? So that's about 50 microns clearence..still a bit on the higherside for a cast piston?

Their website doesn't even given an email to contact [emoji1] so forget about clearence help from them...

Hi all I bought a wsm platinum series banshee/rz 350 64mm Pistons for my rd 350 aircooled. But unfortunately when the Pistons came there is no manufacturer recommended clearence on the package. When I asked the ebay seller about clearence I got a reply of .0030" to .0035" of clearence which I believe is for liquid cooled motors? Since I plan to use it in a aircooled rd 350 with a cast iron liner what clearence should I run? Thanks
