  1. I haven't been in a ton of parking garages but I bet I've parked that 450 in over a dozen and never had an issue. It's more of an issue actually fitting in a space than overhead clearance. I rarely take mine to downtown KC but I had to pick up some stuff that wouldn't fit in our suburban. Normally I park in a parking garage next to P&L but for whatever reason the little Persian security dude wouldn't let me this time. Told me my "back was too wide" lol. Oh well, the lot was closer and cheaper to where I went this time anyhow. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  2. Built Ford tough, not built for big city parking. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  3. She says I need an 80k truck. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  4. The prices on this stuff will continue to go up because people will keep buying. The people will keep buying because they can get financed. Plain and simple. All these big companies don't make the bulk of their money on sales anymore. They make it on interest by financing every single part of your life. I'd give 80k for a new Platinum 450. But I'd put a ton down, take out a note for a maximum of 36 months, and it's something I could utilize every day. Side note: I really want to buy a 450 in 2018 but those new F650's are sexayyyy as fuck and about 20k less. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  5. I've got a buddy who told me basically the same thing. His father in law bought a new escalade in Naples and it was 99 or 100 or something stupid like that. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  6. So neglected. Wish someone would show this thing some attention. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  7. What!? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  8. I'd go Ford or Dodge. Tyler's is the work truck version and it's nice as can be. I've driven several of my customers Fords and they're nice too. Ford and Dodge are a toss up imo. GM stuff just feels a little too light duty for me. That's just my opinion though. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  9. So I guess it's your turn to give a more scientific explanation than "V8's are shitty" And I'd love to know which V8 diesels you've owned. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  10. Let's get 2 things straight fuck face. I'm not part of any fan boy clubs. Not even sure what that is. You'll have to enlighten me about boy clubs. Your point can't stand because you haven't made one. And any point you make is just your OPINION, not a fact. Apparently you don't get out much because V8's and V style engines are used in all kinds of shit. They're used in pickups because they stretch the torque curve out way better than an inline 6. They can perform better under different loads at different speeds across a wider RPM range. The inline 6's still work good, they're just better suited for work and constant heavy loads. Inline 6's make torque across about 250 RPM range if you want them to live. That's why they go in semi trucks and some heavy equipment. There's nothing wrong with them, they're just better at 1 load, at a constant RPM. But here's where it gets fun. No train has used an inline 6 for decades, the overwhelming majority of ships are V engines, along with gensets and pump stations. The only country in the world that still uses an I6 in most big trucks is the US. Europe and Australia have gone to mostly V8's. Locomotive engine, V12 Ship engine, damn that fucker sure looks like a V style engine. Genset engine, holy shit!!! Another V engine. Better go tell all these companies they're using the wrong engine dude! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  11. I don't have time to entertain you. And I sure as fuck don't have time to listen to you make claims, then want me to explain it for you. Feel free to start an intelligent debate and I'll reply when I can. But you've already said more than enough to make me believe an intelligent conversation is impossible. If I were you I'd stop now anyhow. I spend about 60 or 70 hours a week repairing heavy equipment and large diesel engines. And it's been my life since I was born. So good luck. You should probably stick to giving advice on how to not test transmissions on 30 year old cars. Have a great day. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  12. So what's the reason? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  13. Trade for boat?!? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  14. Lmao. No baller here. Mine's an 08, I gave $28,500 for it (technically I gave them a paid for 05 CTS-V and 12k but the paper said $28,500) Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  15. Haha. The interior is my least favorite part of those trucks. It's literally almost identical to an impala interior, no "truck" feel to it whatsoever in my opinion. I really like the 15's though. Real sharp if done right. Just wish they'd make something heavier than a 1 ton. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
