Check out these wheels I did, That is the Color you need, it's Cardinal Silver Vein. I think it would look great with those grey plastics! Frame and wheels done this color. I actually wanna do that grey and yellow 1998 color combo myself. Always thought It was a hot one!

Imo those gold wheels are the ugliest things yamaha ever had on any quad. Personally I can't Stand gold. I think black wheels on that colorway would look hot or silver vein.
I believe those covers only fit the glass headlights on the early models. I tried a set on my 01 with plastic headlights and they didn't match up correctly. I have a set but they aren't perfect. Buckets, lights and covers if your interested.
They are around, you would be surprised how many sets are out there. Most people took them off the quad and swapped them back when they bought the quad new because they didn't like the color
I have the teal tank And rad cover from 92, and a custom cascade seat cover that is like the one I have on now with the yellow. But instead of the yellow it's the teal. And the purple is spot on with the plastics! I am trying to design some Oem graphics in the blue color for the side of the tank cover and then I will put it on. Most likely I will put it on next season when I powder coat the frame black.
Thanks for all the kind words guys, I wish it was faster but I really am more interested in the custom aspect of it. I'm tryna focus on making it look the best cosmetically! I am going to strip it after the season is over. I have some stuff planned for it that will really make it!
in the USA they stopped production in 2006 but They had banshees in Canada til 2009 I believe. And in Australia and a few other countries til 2012.

Wow, nice bike! Somebody must have swapped the plastics, those Orange ones came on 2008 models in Canada. Looks really clean with low hours. Be prepared to drop some money in a never ending pit!
JDS Customs has them and you can probably make one also. Not very hard. It just mounts up right to the tank mount bolts. In the next day or 2 im gonna make some out of carbon fiber and see how they come out.

Another solution instead of deleting the key permanently is to get the hide a key for under the seat. I never turn it off. Just kill switch I use. Never even know it's there.

I did a cleaning of my handlebars as well, best thing I did to the quad! Got rid of the ugly tors cable off the throttle, put a honda thumb throttle on, modified the stock clutch perch and got rid of the parking brake. Looks good bro
Hit up a pool liner distributors dumpster. They throw all of the old scraps or messed up pool liners away. Great material. I made covers for my grills 3 years ago and they are still like brand new.
