  1. Yes, suspension ftw. A well setup chassis will outperform a highly modified bike on stock suspension any day of the week where handling is a concern. A1 is for fags.
  2. 3 things need to be identified first. 1. What is your desired end-state with the bike? 2. What kind of riding do you do? 3. What's your budget? Milling the head won't kill the engine fast enough that you should consider not doing it. However, an aftermarket head that uses Pro Design domes is the preferred way to do things. You have 2 options to advance the timing: modify the stock timing plate or buy a flywheel puller ($12-15) and a timing plate. The cheapest gain would be to remove the airbox lid and buy some main jets to get the jetting right, but a Pro Design pro flow kit with your choice of filter is the right way to do things. Alternatively, you can run pods, but again, you'll need to rejet it.
  3. Oops, just tell him what fuel you want to run. A1 is for fags.
  4. Just tell Cam that you want to run pump gas. That's all that's involved. Let him make the decisions. It took me 2 years to decide who to let build my engine and Cam is who I decided on.
  5. I have had to step in to fill the void in BP's customer support before.
  6. The only way I can see race gas being easier on an engine is if the engine was setup for race gas. http://redlineracing.biz/shop/4-10mm-cub-cylinder-kits/ For $110 more, you get Cam's porting, assurance, properly cut domes, and knowledgeable customer support.
  7. You know that Redline has the same setup plus porting for $1350?
  8. Who are you ordering from? That's Noss Machine.

    Halftime show

Someone pulled it up for me to watch a few seconds of. Yet another reason why I don't watch TV.
  10. Call this number: 918-358-3804 Answer all questions Have card ready Alternatively, you can order domes through the person selling the cub.
  11. Had my harness within 48 hours of sending the money. Will use in the future and recommend to everyone. Very clean, tidy harness. Money very well spent.
  12. I'll see if I can make it out when he's blasting it. If it is cracked, I'll just have to go from there. I have one guy doing all the welding and he's the most highly recommended. Luckily, he's a family friend and will probably do it for free. I won't let that happen though. Good guy, good work = good pay. Sand blasting and all powder is roughly $300. Everywhere I called around to down this way recommended one guy and google reviews agreed. Seat goes to CSL tomorrow, shocks will go to JET once I get around to it. A1 is for fags.
  13. Enough to map the bolt holes out. A1 is for fags.
  14. Thanks bud. I'll try to make the ride. Not probable, but possible.
  15. As an alternative to finding the largest online gathering of Banshee owners and asking if anyone has one sitting around that they can measure at their convenience? Yeah, I'll spend $8 on one and wait 3-5 business days becuase that's a much wiser investment of my time and money. Had I bought one instead of asking, that would have been one of the stupidest things I've ever encountered since the information takes so little to acquire. I also wonder what a Fireball -1" swinger weighs as opposed to my JL -1" arm, should I buy it as well for the sole purpose of finding out? Spending one cent would be stupid if someone is willing to measure it for free. Either will work. That would be better but I suspected more gaskets would be sitting in people's garages than spare cylinders or cases.
  16. I sincerely appreciate it, but I'll have bigger problems on my hands if for some reason I'm not done in time. Funds is not the issue. Waiting on parts to come back is. CSL and JET will be getting packages shipped out tomorrow with <1 month turnaround estimates, engine is about to be at Redline (he said that having it done by mid-March wouldn't be an issue), and waiting on some parts from FAST. Everything else is either here or on it's way here. I'll be watching the FS section. When are you gonna post that outlaw up for sale?
  17. I'm not very big into chrome. If I was to do something chrome it would be the subframe, but probably not on this build. A1 is for fags.
  18. Need ideas on the subframe color. I'm thinking either black or white. Chassis will be white, a-arms, swingarm, nerfs, and bumper will be black. Seat will be black and white. A1 is for fags.
  19. Can someone get me the dimensions of the bolt hole locations on a base gasket? I've been pondering a few things... A1 is for fags.
  20. If the build isn't done for the DT ride AND I can find someone to make the trip with, I'll be there for sure with it. It should be done by the last week of March unless everyone that I sent stuff to gave me unrealistic turnaround times. May even be there on the Holeshots...
  21. I may attend. I'll have to look at my schedule and see if I can find someone to make the trip with me.
  22. Would that provide vertical support though? That's my principal concern. I am buying a front bumper from F43 pretty soon, I'll see if he'll just throw in the tubing he uses for the inserts for a few extra bucks. I'll make the decision on whether I do it or not until last. I have a good welder for cheap, nothing to do on my days off, and I'll always somewhat wish I had done it. Not worth the time isn't a good reason but very unsafe is a good reason. I'll keep all responses in mind.
  23. The pro-peg inserts that came with the nerfs are about 2lbs each.
