I couldn't give you an exact number but if I had to ballpark it I'd say anywhere from 8-9k not including the price of the shee itself. The LTR I bought new so that was 9k, but I definitely hadn't done as much things as I did to the banshee so far. The LTR is definitely an easier bike to go faster on but down on power compared to the banshee which makes up for it being lighter than the banshee. I'm not competing seriously anymore so going as fast as possible on the track isn't a priority to me anymore..I just wanted to show the ppl I used to ride with and still do when we go out and practice that it's capable in the right hands. Also the ride is a lot more enjoyable hearing the banshee scream rather than the 4-stroke. The one thing that I miss the most is how much better the LTR would soak up coming up somewhat short on jumps..the shee really lets you know you effed up when all that weight is coming down haha. If I get into it seriously again maybe I'll build another 450 for comparison. But as for now I'm completely happy and it does everything I want.

Took her out to play in the sand box at glamis a few weeks ago for the second time, pretty fun out here.

Figured I'd update this a bit..got her a new to me bumper always liked the look of these on the shee. Also hp2000 finally decided to let go of some of his parts so I bought some new to me hubs and gave them a little love and they came back to life real well.

Pretending to be a dirtbike :-)

No they wouldn't do the hump for me because they never made a mold for it with the hump.
-
Thanks man! These are the stage 4's which are now considered stage 5's in the new Elka line.
-
Also ripped the skid plate off..the bracket at the front facing forward didn't help it keep it in place after bottoming out pretty hard.
-
Got my seat back in time to test it out. The hump is legit although I don't think I'd even need it with how much grip these thing has. I literally have to place myself differently on the seat if I want to move.

Thanks fellas! Laeger according to my notes I have the rear set at 6.75" and the front at 7.5" when I'm on it.

Stock lighting: Vs The new set up..pictures still don't do it justice. This is also further back and you can see the tree where the road turns.

Adding to my desert/sand set up. I've removed the stock lights and have added this handlebar set up. Mocked up and mounted for now. I still need to wire it all in along with my other led bar integrated in my bumper for my permanent desert/sand set up.
-
Oh course you can use any of your choice just let him know so he doesn't include it in there you just have to make sure it fits. I couldn't tell you exactly since I didn't chose the size but I believe it's an 8inch. You can contact him for info on that or I can measure when I get home for you.

Prices are.. $170 for the battery, $149 for the front bumper and $35 for the stator mod which includes return shipping. He's got a package deal going on right now where you can get all that including the rear grab bar with the integrated brake light which I also have that's legit and get rid of some weight and bulk of the stock tail light for $399 on everything, but I don't know for how long that deal is.

I purchased the whole deal off of JL engineering to convert my bike over from AC power to DC. This kit is super simple to install especially since I sent him my stator to have floated which removing that would be the hardest part of the whole deal which if anyone have put in a ignition timing plate this whole thing will be cake. I liked this kit becuase of how little the battery and the reg/rectifier is and it mounts in the gap between your seat and gas tank so it doesn't take up space anywhere else like the other kits nor does it use a heavy ass battery. Overall I love this kit and is one of the best mods I've done I'd recommend it to anyone that rides at night. The kit works just as it's intended to. My lights no longer flicker while my bike is idling I can turn my lights on without having to turn the bike on which is useful at times. Here's how easy it is to plug in: Unplug the yellow w/red stripe wire and the ground wire like so Your going to plug in the red and black cable to those..the red power wire to the yellow w/red stripe and the black to the black wire for ground. You'll have two other wires off that same harness that are a solid yellow and a solid black and that's where you'll plug in your two wires from the reg/rec and it doesn't matter which one goes were as long as they're plugged in. Now all you have to do is remove your stock reg/rec from the tail and your done. Here's the finished product: As you can see by this picture your visibility will be greatly increased and it'll look like this all the time of you've converted over to DC and run his kit: He's also provided a DIY on his website if you decide to float the ground on your stator yourself on his website, here's the link: http://www.jlengineering.org/banshee-stator-dc-convers.html

He should just sponsor me...I still need to post up the battery and rectifier installed. Need to put it back together.
