  1. Agreed. This design for the banshee has two flaws. Not being able to adjust it while riding and bigger radiator not being able to be fitted. The top mount has non really if you keep in mind when ordering your stem that the stabilizer will be adding an 1 1/2" - 2" (don't recall exactly from my LTR set up) of height to your bars.
  2. Yea it's a bit of a block..here's a picture I took of everything before mounting it.
  3. I tried keeping the bolts off and mounting the radiator guard/grill and moving it around but there wasn't enough room in there for me to make brackets and reposition the radiator in order for it to fit and it not hit it. I pulled the hose out of the way but I would only be able to do it a certain amount before a bunk kink developed and I don't want any blockage.
  4. Sorry haven't been on in a while till just recently. Everything is fine and dandy. Holding up very well. I forget if I had updated you guys on the GPR hitting the bigger aftermarket radiator due to its size being increased length wise on the bottom side, the stabilizer would hit the hose that attaches to the bottom left of the radiator when turned. Good thing I caught it in time before it made a hole in the line. Since then I've gone back to the stock radiator as there is no way I'm not running the GPR steering stabilizer.
  5. I went with a -2 i almost went with a -1 thinking a -2 would be too much but turns out this was perfect. Motor wise I'm bored over .30, 21cc domes in a fast racing cool head, chariot banshee intake boots, v-force 3 reeds and CFM performance aluminum airbox. If I did anything else it'd probably get it ported and polished but as it is now on the dry hard picked tracks it's still hard to find traction at times. When it's been prepped and it's nice fresh dirt that's soft it hooks up amazingly, so I don't feel the need to up the power anymore. I'm not racing anymore so it's somewhat rare when you do get a nice peeped track like that to put the power down otherwise I have to somewhat work to put it down. Nothing like how it used to be with the stock swingarm though.
  6. Love the JL I've put it through a lot of abuse going to the track almost on a weekly basis with no issues or sign of any cracking. Customer service from John is superior to others.
  7. Mine and cousins in the background..he's done some good work now..we're going to have to take new pictures
  8. Definitely need a smaller front on that..awesome color scheme
  9. JD's..had some fitment issues but wasn't too bad of a fix. Definitely go with a dominator axle..I've bent other brands.
  10. Hp2000 told me the same thing definitely doing so
  11. Hmm ok I see what your saying..I guess I could try this in the near future. I got the sprocket coming to me so we'll see how that feels and if it feels like it bogging down too much I might just go for it and at least port it. Where would you recommend I get it done?
  12. Thanks for chiming in I'll get a 16 and maybe a 15 and see how it goes thanks!
  13. Here's some more pics from the other day.
  14. I sold those bad boys. Thank you. I did go one tooth smaller in the rear already I'm wondering that was he first time trying that set up I was thinking of maybe getting a bigger front sprocket in conjunction and see how that feels. I am and if I don't shift before I leave the jump I'm shifting in the air to get going quicker when I land and not rev it out again before shifting. I'm debating on doing a port job since j don't need much more power than what I have. I tried out a friends Duncan motor set up today but not at the track and I dk if I'd want all that power it'd put a good wear on me its not like the 450's where it's a nice strong pull this thing just wants to rip my hands off or spin the wheels
  15. Thanks fellas! I'll get a better vid up next week. I don't know why the video quality came out so shitty..I feel like I'm still there if I watch it off my computer. But yea I'll get a better vid of when I'm fresh and speed it up a bit. Thanks for the good feedback fellas.
  16. Pitching it into turns and getting it to turn is a lot harder on the banshee and takes more effort. I have no problem jumping the banshee so to me it doesn't make a difference there unless I'm trying to move it around in the air then I can feel the extra weight. Traction still isn't as great as the 450 but I'm still playing with the settings but it's getting there. All and all its got a lot more character than the 450 and I love the thing I don't think I'll ever go back to the four pokes.
  17. It's normally a durrbike track other than wed and thurs when they let us and UTV's on. they're supposedly building a quad/utv track.
  18. Well for those of you who wanted to see the bike in action here's the youtube vid for ya..it's one I took towards the end of the day and had mounted on my helmet. I tried the chest mount for the first time during the beginning when I was putting in some pretty good laps in and clearing everything but one jump but in this one i wasn't anyways here ya go enjoy. Next time if you guys want now that i know the chest mount definitely doesn't work I can do strictly helmet mount. https://youtu.be/5Bu4er89too
  19. No worries man this thread can be an informative one also keep at it! But from what I've read and research I've done they have said they do fit you just need the mid pipes to mate up with the silencer.
  20. So far I can only comment on the way they look since I haven't ridden it yet...looks tittiessss ( • ) ( • ) Haha I'll see what I can get for you next time we go to the track.
  21. From what I've read you could. I have their stingers as well and the head pipe seem to have he exact same bends.
