Yea it wouldn't budge once I would tighten it down, the way the clamps grabbed the frame would make it come down. TM is sending me a clamp to replace the one that doesn't wrap around all the way so that it clamps all the way around it and keeps it in place which would solve that issue. I'll keep you guys posted.

Here's the JL engineering grab bar mounted. Still have to get a good picture of the throttle also. Never posted that up either.

Yea unless your happy with your set up then there's kind of no need. If anything you have the elastomers that have the most impact which is for compression so you can try those out before buying the rebound.
-
Definitely, plus we needed a test dummy as I haven't seen anyone run one on here. So we'll see how it holds up. Yea after buying the .190 swingarm skid plate I was dreading putting on a full engine skid plate of he same thickness but definitely the thickness of it would play a big part.
-
Gotcha you pretty much have them all the colors covered. The black is the stiffest one they sell and they have a green one now meant for kids I guess which is softer than the blue. Those look to be the compression elastomers you don't have the option to run the rebound elastomers? I know the older bars only had one which is why I'm asking and you can upgrade to the new set up for under 30 bucks.

I bought mine from T&T atv for $125. Right, I'm sure there's others that fit perfect but not made of the light weight kevelar/plastic material which I wanted to keep the bikes weight somewhat down. Plus they ended up hooking me up so I'm glad I bought it haha.

Forgot to post a picture of the Pingel installed. Might zip tie the line so it holds the line that to the right carb lower. There's a high spot as you can see in the picture that might not let fuel flow as well as it could.

Just spoke to one of the guys at TM, I sent him pictures of how I modified the bracket to fit and they're going to try and replicate it and get a banshee in there to test fit it. I let them know about the front bracket needing to be a tad longer also and they're going to fix that also. So if you guys decide to purchase it anytime in the future hopefully they have it worked out. They'll be sending me new brackets and hooked me up on some goodies for the info great customer service.

So I mounted the TM skid plate. As far as fitment goes it fits pretty well but either doesn't line up with the front bottom mount of the a-arm or the bottom one as you can see. You can move it around to get it to cover one completely but it just leaves a space open on the other. The front mount at the top doesn't fit over the frame completely but enough to get it to stay. Also on the left side (while sitting on the bike) mount they didn't fabricate to fit I had to grind down material to get it to squeeze in there but not a big deal. Might be to some though, I'll include a picture so you guys can see what I mean.

Hahaha nice..From what I read you can make whichever color a little harder if a certain color is almost perfect for you and you want it a bit harder then all you do is tighten the nut to compress it more, making it harder instead of having to move up colors and then it being too stiff and the recommended amount of threads showing off the nut is supposed to be 3mm. No way the chariot throttle with the extended lever is too pretty to switch out for anything else haha. I can't see it being any easier to push than the chariot. I may go back with the ODI's and do just what you mentioned I had just the grips before and liked them a lot the colors were just plain. I have a different set of grips coming that I'm going to try out and see if I like, if I don't I'll probably be going back.

I'll take better pictures later but here's the control set up so far.
-
You must have the old version or just came with different colors? Mine came with red, yellow and blue.
-
You got it. I'll take some of the controls at least tonight.
-
Definitely, the first time I tried them on a friends bike it felt weird being able to feel them flex so much but I also don't remember which color elastomer color he had in there and the sweep along with rise he had gone with was uncomfortable to me. So I'm starting out with the yellows on both sides and see how that feels.
-
Well now that I'm coming pretty close to finishing the build I decided i could upgrade the bars since my cousin just bent his figured he could use my old set. Perfect excuse to upgrade eh?

Another solid find. I call you'd have to do is measure the I.D. Of the tank and pick one of their site. I know the gas caps for the banshee fit the LTR which they have pictured so that could possibly work so long the I.D. Is the same or the Raptors.

On the ball..of course!

Fa sho..dude for the price, you better buy one. Cheap insurance even if anyone were to continue to run inline filters (I know you don't) it's just added insurance and those filters can't filter out water like this can.
-
Yea man, the only thing is that bothers me a bit is the fact that once your done filling your tank with the funnel your always going to have fuel left in the funnel because there's about an inch gap from the bottom of the funnel to where the filter starts. But no big deal you just pour it back in to the tank unless you find anything in there.
-
After deciding in not going to be running in line filters on the pingel and already having a screen on my fuel hose just not one that will catch most if not all the debri like an inline filter would I started looking for other solutions. Kawa110 got me thinking, did some research and found this funnel. It's supposed to filter up to 5 microns of particles. Plenty of videos of how this works by people not trying to promote the company so I decided to give it a shot. Poured some water in it and I couldn't believe it, nothing came through it was pretty awesome (your supposed to test it and see if the filter is working properly) also with out fuel out here in Cali having a mix of e85 it's more susceptible to water. Anyways here it is in case any of you want to purchase one also.

Had to cut a piece off the skid plate to make it fit. Apparently these weren't designed for shortened swingarms as they move the shock link just a tad further down. Also got rid of the shiny business it had going on with some black.
-
I shall after a few track days and a bit of trail riding. If I forget just ask but I'll be checking it when I wash her down. It's .25" thick in case any of you are wondering also.
-
Finally got the engine some protection. We'll see how this plastic skid plate holds up compared to the aluminum ones. Definitely a lot lighter that's for sure.

http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/snw/5472733788.html Very well taken care of (with bent bars and white markings all over the plastics where they're been bent) ha
