Yea buddy! Keeps the inside of the wheel looking new also without all that dirt full of rocks bouncing and slidin around wearing at the wheel.
-
Got her some new wheel plugs..dog ate one of them. Literally.
-
Funny you say that, on the first one the guy tried clearing that step up on his raptor 660 landed short, cased it and bucked him off the quad...the quad kept going and came to a stop after running into a truck that was up there on the supercross track. 2 hours later after going back and fourth about insurance claims the guy in the truck kept talking smack and got himself knocked out by the other guy haha got it all on the GoPro. Yea it's a really easy track, it's the vet track. If you notice after the second blind up hill turn those two jumps which I don't clear the first becuase the landing on the first is hard to land perfectly since you have to get the front end pointing pretty far down but you can hit that lip and land on the next ones landing. I'm still trying to get my grove back but I'll probably be hitting it soon it's 165 feet.

Haha

Thanks buddy. Yea that whole plug chopping thing works wonders haha. Too bad your not in Cali I'd say you should join me. Or any of you guys for that matter should come out.
-
Yea it was towards the end of the day they stop watering it so much...we're supposed to be under a water crisis out here haha. They need bigger jumps on this track or let us use the sweet other two tracks they have.

Here's a video of me recording my buddy around the track. Just got into the banshee game, yea buddy! And a video of me mobbing around the track..excuse my missing gloves I forgot to put some in my gear bag ha.

Installed the slide-n-glide kit but left out a picture of the case saver since it's just black with no logo so it's kinda boring but anyways:

Working on keeping my graphics looking fresh...

As I tell people all the time it's mostly the rider. But when your comparing a rider of the same skill level that's when bike and track or canyon your going to be riding mostly will be put into play. You put someone of equal skill level on a big track with lots of straights the litter bike will take it every time. Then you put someone on a tight track with more corners with straights and the 600 will have the advantage because it's easier to swing it from one side to the other whereas the litter bike will take a lot more effort and even then it comes down to 1-2 seconds or fractions of one. It's been proven time after time so fellas just go with the one you fall in love with and you'll never regret it I've had a little bit of everything. Then you'll just end up like me and get one for different purposes haha. Be net your missing out man, of one my favorites of me and the lady...

I hear ya on the garage! Thanks man. Make it happen, it cures my urge to ride when I can't ride dirt or sand.
-
Haha that's right. In my case put new parts on, test it and tear it apart again. Love it.
-
Well bike wise I have other bikes that I show love to also, kind of just go in a circle and buy a part or multiple like I do with the banshee haha there's another missing in this picture but you get the idea. Oh and the car but that normally just sits in the garage so haven't payed much attention to it.
-
Thanks for the compliments fellas. Definitely won't see many bikes with these..unless everyone starts buying them haha. I do plan on adding a little something extra for lighting that you guys will see eventually. I have to slow down on the modding or I'm going to finish doing everything I want too quickly.
-
Thanks man. The shocks are 17.5". Dave won't recommend anything above that for the LT arms but he can build them to fit whatever shock length you need to fit in there.
-
Well got the bumper this morning from JL. This things is tits! Didn't get around to mounting and installing everything else but I wanted to see what the bumper looked on at least and snapped a picture for you guys, definitely a quality piece.
-
Well John sent me a picture of the new goodies he just sent over to me. Really stoked about this one continuing my color scheme like my grab bar is my JL engineering front bumper with an integrated LED bar. Sent him my stator so that he could do the conversion from AC to DC so all is have to do is bolt it all on and plug in a few wires. Last but not least is the sick @$$ battery/rectifier package, this will bolt up where you normally have the hide a key brackets on the gas tank and doesn't take up a ton of space like the other kits I've seen nor is it anywhere near as heavy. This the battery package is a 2200mah and can power my lights for approximately 25 minutes with the bike off and recharge the battery in 5 minutes or so after running the lights with the bike off. Of course this will be removed when I go to the track but will definitely be on when I'm riding trails around my house or the desert which is what I wanted this for and all I have to do is unplug the wires to the battery and zip tie them to a safe spot and not worry about it. Anyways here it is I'll let you guys know more when I get it and install it.

Yea I saw that picture on their website too. Maybe they didn't slap the sticker on it after the deal they gave me haha.
-
Thanks man

Received my T.M. goodies today. Kind of sucks the case saver doesn't come with the logo like it used to but still solid non the less.

Well if you look at the first picture and zoom in you can see little metal particles on the bottom that were caught. The next two are the two sides of the filter itself which seem to have have some small black particles and the top of the cylinder that's black you can see that it's become sparkly which I would think would be really small metal shavings of some sort?
-
No I didn't think I'd have to post a before picture? Just looks clean. I can take a long video next time so it doesn't looked mocked up..since I'm assuming that's what your getting at. Oh and this was at a Shell gas station 91 octane (highest there is at your normal pumps unless I go to Sunoco which is 29 miles away from me)
-
So I tried out the funnel, took it with me to fill up the fuel tank annnnd here's what I got out of it. I might be buying the biggest version and using this for when I fill up my vehicles. Mind you this was clean before fueling up.
-
That would definitely do it. After looking at it closely. If you look at the 3rd row of clamps (or second to last) the frame starts to curve in and those clamps when tightened down move the skid plate down because they aren't making full contact, so when I tighten those down it moves the skid plate down to where it is making full contact which is where it sits now. So the issue might be the placing of the pre-drilled holes in the skid. Hopefully that makes sense I'll take a better look at it and try loosening and tightening it down again when I get home..this is just my assumption based on the pictures I have.

I did read that it would take form of the bike being plastic/Kevlar so maybe now that it's been on for some time it's taken a bit of form and I can move it up a little bit.
