  1. When I was dropping my YXZ off at cams, he was saying that he's doing tons of 521s now.
  2. I had a set of T3s and T5s. Everyone hates on the T5s, but honestly the T3s are even worse. I'd sell them.
  3. I think there's alot of lurkers still. Like me.
  4. Welcome to the forum. If it where me, I'd throw a chain and a case saver on.
  5. Need more info on when and where you ride, and how much you weigh. I'm running 73ish RO, 22x11x8 9 paddle extremes on blue labels on my 521. Even with a +8 arm, the front end will walk up on you in 3rd. I'm 160lbs. My brother who's 230-240lbs, can run a 12 paddle and the front end will stay down. I usually ride the Oregon coast in winter and spring.
  6. If you want to quite the pipes down, I would suggest Cascade silencers. Now, I have no idea if the new cascade owners are producing them, but when Chris and Tim owned it, they made some top quality stuff. I run their silencers (big bore though) on my 521, and love them.
  7. Probably should of let Cam assemble it. The guy knows a thing or two about banshees.
  8. I'd stick with the stock carbs. They'll flow enough air for way more power than you're putting down. I would suggest getting a cool head. Depending on what fuel, and if your crank is welded, will determine what CC of dome you can run. My .02.
  9. I honestly don't think race gas 10mill starts that hard. I'm 150lbs, and don't have an issue..but then again I use to ride a lt500. That thing sucked to start.
  10. I find the 450 seats uncomfortable. Give me my old zilla or a banshee seat any day.
  11. Prices out in Oregon have gotten insane. 5yrs ago, I picked up my very clean banshee with a works shocks, +4 cascade swing arm, pipes, reeds, filters, timing plate, dirt tires, and 2 sets of paddles for a little over 2k. The wifes banshee I picked up for $1600. It came with pipes and reeds, etc. The colors on hers where horrible, but overall a really solid quad. Motor is still running great after all these years. I don't know if the quads on CL are selling or not, but people are asking way to much for ratted out pos.
  12. Fuel usage with my 39s/521 is measured in minutes. Not miles.
  13. If you're serious about having a motor built, I'd contact a site vendor. (I suggest Cam@Redline) Support after the sale is something that you'll want. Not to mention, who knows whats inside of those motors... If I where to do a 10mill, I'd want a billet crank too.
  14. Stay away from Maier. I have a blue set, and within the first couple trips to the dunes, they started stressing.
  15. Lol, I already follow you, Cam, and Tyler.
  16. Just plan on waiting for snipers. No idea on Garys turn around time lately.
  17. I saw that zilla was talking about a 38" JJ styled drilled axle in the chatbox earlier this morning. Does anyone make a 38" solid or drilled aluminum axle? Can't seem to find any info on a 38. I'm using a Dura Blue +2 right now, and like the idea of loosing a bunch of rotating mass, but like the wider stance.
  18. I think this will be my next purchase. I like the idea of 10lbs less rotating mass. Tyler, could you feel a difference on the butt dyno?
  19. I didn't realize so many people drank water...
  20. Depends on your budget. I say depending on your riding type, build a cub or serval and the suspension.
