  1. I didnt apply voltage, what i meant was i hooked a hot wire to one end of a test light then took the other end and toched the green/yellow wire and it proved that it was grounded, but i can cut it at the cdi and eliminate that problem is what your saying?
  2. Okay so i used a test light and got a hot from the lights and touched the green/yellow wire and its grounded, is it not supposed to be?
  3. Its connected going to see if its grounding out right now, can i just disconnect it?
  4. Okay so im starting to think the carbs are not the problem, ive tried 280,290,300,310 jets with no sucess, ive tried 25 pilots and 30 pilots with needles set middle clip,, after running for 20 seconds the plugs are wet and so are the reeds, its got spark and the plugs only have a few hours on them, also the bike still pours white smoke, still mixing gas at 32:1, reeds are not broken, it will idle but thats it any throttle and it just sounds like its laking something it will not rev up past idle
  5. Okay ill get the jets and let you guys know how it goes
  6. Okay so get 30 pilots and what about the mains? 300 is okay?
  7. Ya i just figured out the 1.4 is not the pilot, my piliot jets are 25, and i did have the bowls on right
  8. Slides are correct and main jets 300, pilots said 1.4 and im not positive which bowl goes to which carb
  9. Also i really appreciate your guys help ive been trying to get it to run right for a month now, just terrible with carbs i guess lol
  10. I will check the jets in the morning, when i got the bike it ran like hell! (by the way The area where i bought it was 3500ft above sea level and where i live is 100 below sea level, ive never rode it where i live till now) but shortly after buying it i tore it down because it needed rings and a clutch and i rebuilt the carbs, but i did not mark where the air fuel mix was set, the carbs are synced, i left the tors idle screws alone, i did not mess with the needle clips, it still has the same jets as before so im not sure what my issue is other than the air fuel mix; i have it at 3 turns out. And i mix my fuel 32:1 ratio, normal temps around here are 70º to 90º
  11. Okay so i have a 2002 shee stock bore, no port, fmf fattys, +5 timing, stock carbs, individual filters, and a boost bottle, my question is when i start the bike it idles fine with choke on and i can kinda rev it a lil then it falls on its face, with choke off it idles somewhat high and if i rev it it falls on its face instantly, does anyone know what would cause this?
