  1. Your going Rod, and that's all there is to it!!!!!!! I'm up for any weekend that is picked...... I should have some sort of mode of transportation worked out by then..... That's what you said about roostfest... and .... where were you... lmfao. Man you missed a good time. I should be there if the moving thing goes good. I'll have my wife and kids this time. Man, July is gonna be a hot s.o.b. on the black coals. Why didn't june get picked again... lol
  2. Yeah, I saw that in another post. Man, I was thinking about how hot it will be in the middle of July on the coals.... shewww
  3. Porting is an art. Don't get me wrong, you may gain some power from using templates... but probably not as much as your gonna want. I bet if I gave 5 builders exact specs, they'd all come out different. The angles inside the transers, the different shapes each builder uses inside each port... it's an art.
  4. keep the stock air box, di-electric grease every connector, fill all grease points with water proof marine grease, get new carbs. The stock carbs will eventually start sticking or bogging on you.
  5. Minkia, yachtclub makes what your looking for. They sell them at a place an hr from me. Very simple concept. Go to this web site and click to download the atv sell sheet. There is a pic. http://www.yachtclubtrailers.com/
  6. Jason left my house about 8:30 this morning..... March 10... Wednesday. He stayed at my house last night. I cooked baby backs, steak.. all kinds of good stuff. Looks like I'll be seeing you guys at coalfest if all goes as planned. I'm already fired up and I just got the shee back yesterday... lol
  7. I rode Banchetta's shee with the paul turners mids.... damn. That thing is very snappy from bottom to mid just as advertised. Actually, I think it was the most responsive shee I've been on. The top just doesn't pull as long as others. If you shift, you'll still pull on people no problem.
  8. Ask Gary about the durability of the heim joints.... I have my doughts about them. They are completly exposed. I just can't see them being a durable piece. The a-arms he builds look great. Ricky Stator uses traditional type joints that you can grease.
  9. The filter on the um box is for a 250r. The 250r filter is bigger. It may pull more air, but the box design sucks ass. I have one. They don't have anyway to mount the front of the box. It mounts in the rear and the boots are suppose to hold the front of the box. It doesn't work. I fought the boots popping off. I had to use zip ties while at the dunes to hold the box on. I hate that box.
  10. I like your theory about the 17/18th also Meat. I'm not positive I'll make it, but I WILL do what I can to get there.
  11. Well, now that I have been to two sets of dunes, I can say it depends on the sand and type of riding. There were people out at dumont with some tires called mini desert paddle or something like that and they were smokin. They did awesome. V-paddles were working good out there to. The sand wasn't really really soft, but it started getting softer as the weekend went. I know that's not an answer and I don't think anyone can give you the perfect answer. Depends were you want your strongest point.. sliding, duning without a giant roost, dragging, just cruising. Seemed to me every paddle had it's goods and bad.
  12. I think it's the best and easiest way to measure the oil. There only $3 or $4.
  13. Dave, as soon as I walked out of the airport in las vegas, the first thing I saw was a bilboard for that concert. LMAO... I thought of you right away, got out the digital camera and realized I forgot to take the pics of my daughters b-day. I was going to post if for you.... lmao.
  14. Yes it is. I believe there was a blue and black wire... not real sure since it's on Banchetta's trailer right now. But yeah, that would be awesome if you could throw it in your bag. Thank !!!
  15. I believe mrmatt extends swingarms too. He's on his way to roostfest right now, but he'll get back to you when he get's back.
  16. I have fatty's and didn't have that problem. If the hose is touching, maybe you need to move or shorten it some. The stock bracket work also. You'll need to loosen the top bolt and angle them different, but they will work fine.
  17. I don't have a rear tail light either Is that a problem there ?
  18. The weather looks like it's gonna be in our favor 70 during the day and 40's at night. WWWoooo Hooooo
  19. I'm going to add this bill. I wrecked a bike that landed me a steel plate and 8 screws. It took me 3 yrs to have full confidence back. I did sell my bike. It was a dirt bike at that time. If it's a sport you love, maybe you can use it as an excuse to get something new... if you just don't like the banshee anymore that is. You'll end up with something else. I'm sure of it. If you don't want to go through the hassel of selling and buying keep what you have. If the family needs the time to heal more than you do, keep the money you get in the bank so you can buy something else when the time comes... That's what I did.
  20. I meant "Doesn't mean you shouldn't still visit here though". Just wanted to correct the typo. Sorry about that...
  21. is taking drugs really worth all the hassle that comes along with it? it has to be a major inconvenience to flush your system all the time for drug tests. personally i hope you never have any passengers in your plane after you get your pilots license. Not much you can say to that... lol
  22. Can you wrap the fuel like with some heater hose.... at least that section to preserve you nice intakes.
