  1. Rodney I've been trying to get someone to name there kid Rodney for years... lol Actually, I wish my son was a Jr.
  2. I just wanted to post that I finally got to see some of the billet and other things such as swing-arms he makes. I bought a parking break block off from him while I was there. It wouldn't even work as a paper weight.... It's to light. I'm not sure what all products he has right now, but if you're looking for something, you might want to pm him and shee what he can do. Thanks Stan
  3. I like the taller gears in the front too, like Blue said. It seems they pull harder longer and you don't have to shift as much.
  4. I just went to mapquest and here's the route I'd take. If I went to your place, It'd be pretty far out of the way. http://www.mapquest.com/directions/main.ad...=kzLUL6eOQ7Y%3d
  5. U got somthin against 16 yr olds You know, as soon as I posted that I though about you. Just 16yr old that worry to much about what everyone else is doing. Actually, I enjoyed the circle around your guys fire with Justin
  6. Whatever dude. You want some cheese with that whine?? I had a blast; I'll be at the next one; and you damn sure won't hear any crying-ass bitching from me... LMMFAO. I just realized that this thread is that guys first post. He's probably a 16yr old kid.
  7. I'll have to check the route. I forgot where it was and where you are... lol. I'm not with it right now.
  8. Yep, what they said, but make sure you get every little circuit. Make sure it looks clean to the eye too because you dont' want to use compressed air and jam the dirt inside the circuits.
  9. If you look in the clymers manual, there is a spec to see of the reeds are bad. You measure the thickness of the reeds. I'd stick with tdr reed. The epoxy ones. They are cheap and work well. If you or someone you know has a dremel, port them for some more flow.
  10. I haven't decided if I'm bringing the camper or staying in a hotel. Where is the nearest hotel Meat.
  11. You know, that is one big azz motor. Anyway, I will have to say check out www.planetsand.com. I don't go there very often, but you may get your most accurate info on a big motor like that over there. I personally have never seen a 10mm as most here probably have not. Good luck.
  12. Exactly, I have had both. I like how the keihns are built, but I think the mikunis dialed in easier out of the box for my setup. Some I have talked to have said the keihns dialed in better. Every motor is different. Whatever you choose you'll get it dialed in eventually. The keihns do have easier access to main jets and the needles.
  13. I heard the raptor fronts are stronger and a bolt on if you get the whole assembly for both sides.... so I guess that means they're different but will work.
  14. What type of riding. I couldn't believe how banshee 370's bike ran with the mp350 porting. He does run an extended swingarm and doesn't weigh much, has an egt to check jetting, all the above lol, but he pretty much owned comp hill at dumont. I have a rec/mx port done by Andy at grand river racing and I was doing really good at the hill but I have a 4mm stroker. I just need to get down my starts. I can't imagine what his drag port is like. The problem with a question like the one your asking is there are 100's of good builders out there. Most of us have only had 1 or 2 ported motors to compare too. If I say Andy and someone says Jim and I'm running different pipes or carbs... that could be a factor in the difference of power. Good Luck on your search.
  15. Us guys from the east coast had to jet way richer than we thought at dumnot. I don't know about glamis. Just thought I'd throw that in.
  16. I have a sway bar for sale if you need that. I don't see it in your list though.
  17. We have to see where the next one is going to be first.... But, I'm also trying to figure out the next one. It's like crack... I'm addicted. I always thought it would suck to be roosted.... I think I liked it
  18. You could buy some from ricky stator. I don't know what they are for, but they do not need reeming
  19. I dis-agree about sand not sticking to a k&n. Just as Banchetta. His filter was caked with sand. I believe he was running an outerwear too. I had a foam with outerwear and it looked great. I switched from a k&n recently and will stick with the foam now.
  20. You know what, I'm glad you guys were partying. The roostfest camp was laid back I do admit, but that's good for a lot of people. Then we had a little more rowdy camp just behind our trailer...Justins fire bombs and some of natures finest... then we had your camp. I did hear you guys over there. I believe it was the camp with the blue banshee I was smoking up comp... Anyway, diversity is good. If you think about it, the roostfest group... not just the bhq'ers had respect. Nobody complained about you guys and had the rangers up your ass. We were all there to have a good time in our own way. Now, I do invited you to come to coal fest. Please do !!!!!
  21. Another trick that banshee370 did ( Walter) was take the steels and grind them on concrete. Banchetta was having some clutch trouble at Dumont and he put some heavier springs in. Walter took the steels to the trailer and ground them on the floor in a figure 8 pattern. Worked very nice.
  22. If you straight drag race, you may be suprised what a stock stroke crank can do with proper porting, carbs, pipes, reeds. Now, if you want some more bottom end and harder pulling shee the stroker is the way to go. Don't forget the extra's though. You need to spend a little extra on the porting, crank, new 34pj's or 35 pwk's for most riding, new intakes for them, new air filter system or boots to use the stock box (you'll have to move the stock box though), and all the little gotcha's that go with modifying. It's gonna cost you more than the crank and porting.. .just keep that in mind. But, if you want to scream, that's the only way to do it... spend the money. Oh, I'd put a new clutch in while I was at it also.
  23. Ray, if you want, I can get a number for that place and see what they charge. I have no idea. I think the ones they carry are the two sides ramp ones.
