If you straight drag race, you may be suprised what a stock stroke crank can do with proper porting, carbs, pipes, reeds. Now, if you want some more bottom end and harder pulling shee the stroker is the way to go. Don't forget the extra's though. You need to spend a little extra on the porting, crank, new 34pj's or 35 pwk's for most riding, new intakes for them, new air filter system or boots to use the stock box (you'll have to move the stock box though), and all the little gotcha's that go with modifying. It's gonna cost you more than the crank and porting.. .just keep that in mind. But, if you want to scream, that's the only way to do it... spend the money. Oh, I'd put a new clutch in while I was at it also.
