  1. Dave does build some very very nice stuff. He'll do fine.
  2. I didn't know that was shaft drive. Guess that's why I couldn't find one... lol
  3. Click the link for the bottle move. It won't cost you anything either... http://kuoi.asui.uidaho.edu/~john/tips.html It's the best thing I did for my cooling system.
  4. I've searched for about 20min online and can't find one. You might have better luck having that one extended. If I come across something I'll let you know. Good luck. I did notice graydon had some for the 86 types.
  5. I paid 2300 for a 97 banshee in 2000. It was stock.
  6. He said he's staying with Verizon
  7. You can buy a kit that is suppose to help prevent that from happening. You can see it at www.grandriverracing.com. It's a needle bearing instead of the ball.
  8. Start at 310 main, middle needle position and stock pilot two turns out. Go from there. I'm assuming a stock motor with pipes and air filter.
  9. Raise that needle !!!!!!!! You main might be lean but maybe not since you are at 1000ft. I'd leave the pilot alone...at least for now.
  10. As everyone knows different cell vendors work better in certain areas. Boonman is sticking with verizon. Boonman, all I can say is it seems you want a phone that works. Not all the shiny horse shit they have out there. Compare battery talk time... stand by time is a stupid number, fit on your ear and ringer VOLUME. I was so worried about ringer volume when I bought mine I overlooked the battery talk time. Flip phones are fancy and a little smaller but for the most part have smaller batteries. They also have a lot of connections where the phones flip open. If you get a flip phone, buy the insurance that verizon offers for a few bucks a month. If you buy your contract at radio shack you can get their insurance instead. They will give you a new battery every six months if you say it doesn't charge right. They also let you keep the old one. The contract will pay for itself that way. Standard non flip phones are usually a little bigger and harder to just stick in your pocket. But, the usually have better batteries, are louder and fit on your ear better. Some phones have the voice activated directory built into the phone. If you have one with the feature built in make sure you aren't paying for the service on the bill. Companies like to add that to the bill and make you think you have to pay it. You should only be paying it if your phone doesn't support that feature and your using through your service provider. I do want to add that LG does make a great phone. To each there own.
  11. I thought you worked on it and it was that way after you put it back together. Very odd.
  12. I use verizon. It's the best in our area. I've had nextel, sprint, centinnial, and verizon. I have the a motorola t720c and don't care for it. The battery life is the worst. My wife has a samsung and the ringer is so quit you can't hear it at a restaurant with it sitting on the table. They make all these "pretty" phones but they aren't as functional as that old star-tac you had. To bad it went out.
  13. If the cable is rusty inside it will be harder to pull when it has a curve in it. Spend the $15 and get a cable. Start there.
  14. Is the adjuster on the pressure plate right. That has to be the trouble if the rod and ball are in there.
  15. Start with a new cable. That will make a world of difference.
  16. Do you want some cheese with that whine
  17. LOL, I've done that before. Two things. The most obvious is lineing up the pressure plate to the hub. There are arrows on the center hub. You have to line one of them up with the arrown on the pressure plate. That will cause it not to do anything when you let go of the clutch. The quad acts like it's in neutral. The other is make sure the rod, ball and adjuster ( on the pressure plate) are all three there. I had the adjuster fall off at the dunes.
  18. I've never heard of kenth carbs. Never assume any carb is pre-jetted. Every machine needs a little different jetting than the other.
  19. Did I say you were trying to rip people off? I dont rember saying that. Your alittle defensive about it actually arent you? Being stationed overseas makes it harder to do stuff like GET MONEY ORDERS. Plus it takes a while for my mail to get to the states and I dont like hearing people bitch about late payments. Thats all I ment. Maybe you should calm down a little bit. And just to clear the whole "shipping overseas" thing up. When you ship to a United States Millitary adress no matter where it is; it is just like shipping to New York. And as far as you not needing to rip people off the way you said that it sounds like you got all kinds of money so whats the big deal over 170 bucks. I have never had a single proble with paypal. EVER. Uh Oh...lol It's principle. Do you continue to buy stuff from someone that stole $170 from you even if they never stole from somebody you don't know. Uh... no. If you do think it over and take it as a life lesson. Good Luck NYUK on the buy it nows.
  20. Here's pics Meat posted a while back with pics. This is his quote. Hey iv been running the same set of Vito's PowerPistons for 3 years now. Id buy em again, they've stood up to my reliability standards. Here's some pics of a standard Wiseco(left) next to a PowerPiston(right)...... This is where the post resides... http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...topic=16733&hl= Sorry I got so off topic here, but I think the pistons are what's causing the non standard compression. The pics here are power pistons...not super stocks
