  1. Kinda like putting stock pipes on a stroker isn't it. Maybe not quit that drastic but cpi doesn't make a big bore pipe for the hell of it.
  2. I'm just saying if you get the cubs, might as well spend the few dollars now and not regret it later.
  3. Withe the cubs for the 4mm crank I don't even think you'll need domes unless they are just the wrong size. If you want real pwr you should get some pipes built more for those cylinders. A&S has them. Hell, you might as well do a big bore and get big bore pipes. I don't think the big bores cubs cost much more. Along with some big bore pipes.... shazam !!!
  4. If you can afford to keep the stroker crank and get cubs ... there you go. cpi's and the trinity head will work just fine !!
  5. If your set on keeping your cylinders I'd def run the stroker crank. Have it ported for the crank and have the head cut for it.
  6. Just to let people know there are emails circulating that are threating to shut down your account if you don't click on the link and resubmit your info. Well, I recieved this email on an account that has never been used for ebay. It's a pure scam. You are giving your data to a hacker. Just beware. fixitrod

    35 pwk's

Yeah John, that's where I got mine. $250 with about 20 jets.
  8. Although, for type of riding you could use the porting money, money from selling your cylinder and the money from the stroker crank to by some cubs. You'd probably get more bang for the buck that way. I haven't ridden cubs either though but heard they are for haulin ass !!
  9. Have you backed out the pilot screws yet or checked to see how far out they are. Your needle could be super rich too. I think you said you checked your airfilter right?
  10. I believe the story on the other page says silver lake.
  11. First you need to do like fast87 said. Take the petcock off and check the screens. I cut my screens off and put an inline filter in so I can see it now. Also, the float bowl height needs to be checked if that's not the problem. If you don't find anything there it could be an electrical part getting hot.
  12. 5 yrs ago we had a gas price war and it was down to .77 cents a gallon. Normal was around a dollar at that time and I thought that was crazy then.
  13. If you get those bearing out without damaging the seals let me know how you did it. Order some seals at the same time or you'll be waiting for them after you've torn it apart.
  14. If you are jetted properly it shouldn't be a problem. I agree with fast87 about it running out of fuel. You could also have an electrical problem such at the coil or stator heating up. good luck ... and let us know what you find.
  15. edit Got my octanes mixed up. It's 86 octane for $2.40
  16. Try it and see what you think. You'll probably just leave it on there. Hell, you might even beat your buddy... lol
  17. It's not April is it That Honda made him stuped GL on the move John !!!!
  18. Boring like that doesn't add much if any pwr. Have a machine shop look at it to decide how far to go on the cylinders.
  19. Not at .025 cut off. And you won't have to wait on a shop to do it. Have a new head gasket handy though.
  20. In Indiana you can have a police officer come out for $5 and check it.
  21. Moving it one clip to lean won't melt your motor. Too lean is never good. If it runs better with the needle dropped then leave it that way.
  22. Someone should jump on that milled head. Then you can sell your stock one and have a milled head for $10 or so.
  23. If the plate is tight, running good and not detonating it should be fine.
  24. Unless you are super good at jetting and reading plugs use stock plugs and gap them at .018 "
