  1. Like mat said, they have to be tight. I also switch to nylon locking nuts.
  2. 4strokes need rejetted too if they were jetting right on too. Sounds like you were pretty close to dead on with your jetting, that's all. For every 15deg decrease in temp you should go up 1 main jet size if your jetting is dead on. Of course this is just rule of thumb but a good place to start. There's nothing wrong with being a little rich. You may even start a little log or journal of jetting and temps. That way you know what works and what doesn't. I use to just put the airbox lid on when the temp dropped some. Good for about 1 to 1.5 jet sizes I'd guess. It worked for me anyway. Now that I have the setup I'm currently running that won't work. Also, on your pilots, you could just try turning the screw in some. Maybe a quarter to half turn. Just keep both carb screws at the same place from seated. You may just buy the next bigger pilot for them while you are putting your mains in. The stock size pilot is 25 and the next bigger is 27.5. I think you'll be fine my adjusting with the screw though. I really do.
  3. Did you get some riding in this weekend matt.
  4. I have a -2 and it really is more predictable in the air with it. You don't get the kick in the rear as much when leaving the lip so it makes the front end feel lighter.
  5. I have personally seen 3 sets of heims and they've all had play in them. They are to exposed to the elimantes. Now that there are boots for them, this may help that quit a bit. Heim joints were not made to be used as a ball joint application. They were made to have force applied to them as boonman was kind of getting at by rotating it 90 degrees.. .but that's not the same forces put out by the a-arms. It's like boonman said. Which ever you get is better than stock. I have not had any experience with the heim with boots on them. I'd sure would like to see them though. Anybody have pics.
  6. It's the same end, it's just a different length.
  7. If you have a "my computer" icon on your desktop, right click on it and seleect manage. You'll see and event viewer in there. Try to run a movie and see if the event viewer shows anything. If you don't have the icon, you can got to start, programs, administrative tools and event viewer. See if you can find and error in there for it. If so, click on the link included in the error and click on it. This will take you to a microsoft website and include what they think may be a fix. Have you updated your player?
  8. Proably just the cost and I think more water will get in than just cutting the back of the lid off.
  9. I won't be there guys. Just letting you know.

  15. You'll need a cable that is used with the tors removal kit for the thumb throttle or have somebody that know how to put a new ball on the end of your existing cable modify it for the thumb throttle housing. You can get the cable you need at toomey's website for 19.99.
