  1. Yeah, let us know. Also, as your professor friend posted, it depends where people take the material from. I think there are some different brands of flywheels out there that are built a little different then the yamaha stock ones. That could be the reason for one or the other flying apart.
  2. If I were you guys, I'd stick with boonman on the flywheel. I don't remember what he charged, but I believe he covered shipping back. That will almost pay for the difference. I'm 50/50 on that part of it. I do remember I had that thing back in 5 or 6 business days from sending it out. Looks like that place builds some nice stuff though.
  3. I forgot to get back to this. I emailed them and they wouldn't send me a pic of it. They said the banshee only needs one because both spark that the same time. Says if you don't notice an improvement they'll give you your money back.
  4. http://modquad.com/store/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=SL1-1S http://alba.buyol.com/Item/RIS-2000BBP.htm http://www.graydonproline.com/PI/RISDesign...heeProducts.asp There's a couple of each.
  5. a stock blaster lever works for the shifter.
  6. How about wilsons or caldwells? That's my wifes family.
  7. "porting" is done in the head of a 4stroke. Porting changes intake and exhaust timing. You can have some heads made for bigger valves and such, but usually is accomplished with a new cam ona 4 stroke. Look for cams that are made for the warrior.
  8. This site is filled with amzing people and amazing banshee mechanics. Welcom to the hq.
  9. Make sure you put the rod in first then the ball. The ball should be rubbing the adjuster.. like a ball bearing. Grease the pushrod, ball and hole that you are putting them into. Make sure you tighten the retaining nut really really good. Sounds like it's just not tight enough. YOu can use blue loctit if you wanted too.
  10. Corbin... Know any higgenbothems. I have a friends who's family lives on a hill out there. My wifes dad and family is from Corbin too.
  11. In no one driving from Indiana to California or somewhere in the middle I can meet up with on the way
  12. www.rickystator.com has them for $125 with an adujtable timing plate.
  13. Try a new set of plugs and see if that helps.
  14. Well, that's it. Either the pilot circuit it clogged or jetted wrong, your choke circuit has something wrong with it or low compression. Is the bowl with the brass tube on the left carb for sure? That'll make the choke not work. Choke tube is between the carbs .. right?
  15. send it to where. I have a coalfest movie if you have a place to host it. I think it's 400meg.
  16. Did you win the lottery or something
  17. I also have a grr motor. Not a drag motor though. I couldn't even imagine his drag motor. You should see a close up of nyuk's frame. Built by grr.
  18. The plate and dome is a debate. But, the "speacial" cut domes are the dome angle itself that noss does. You can get stroker domes too if you want. Stroker domes = less gaskets, compression happens above the matting surface Spacer plate= easy, no speacial domes to buy, and a good builder can add more transfer volume for the much needed banshee cylinders.
  19. What type of riding do you do. That will help us decide. I say save up for some shocks... but that's me. Sounds like you have some decent mods now.
  20. You could make the fits fit where the outside plastic cover goes on eliminating it all together. Talk about increasing surface area.
  21. I think they hit your for $15 to park too. If it's the same show I meet holyman at once.
  22. There's been a lot of discussion lately on that subject. There is no exact answer. If you do a search you'll find plenty of answers. You could aways go axis long trave with a lobo front end and a linkless rear
  23. Yeah, get rid of. Also, make sure it red loctite and peen the screw with a tap and hammer so they can't back out. Use the new cushions. If the old ones look smaller it's because they are worn. They'll look perfect, but smaller... lol. Kind of weird.
  24. I put one in the dead center of the swingarm. Yours is more convenient.
