I use to have the same trouble. I've posted to this question quite a few times. If you do a search you'll find this a lot and what people have done. You have to have the shift shaft clawed centered on the shift star like stated above. Only thing is, it may look right but the cam (looks like a flat head screw) may be loose. Mine was. Whenever I shifted under hard exceleration it stayed in the same gear, but it shifted fine if I was just cruising around. That may be the your trouble. Tighten it and use the lock washer that's under it. Also, my cam screw had groove in it. I grinded the sides of it flat. It still is effect for adjust but a little more touchy. Once you tighten the lock nut, it doesn't matter anymore. Good luck.

Wow... that is bad ass. I dig that blue and black flame too. Where did you learn the tech to do that. Did you learn from that guy. I just seen the black and blue one that looks like it has blue water droplets on it... damn, that is skill.

Builder preference. Nice thing about the spacer plate, you can use anybodys head and domes. Some builders actually use the spacer plate to add more transfer volume... much needed on the banshee. Down side, one more gasket that can fail. That's all I've got to say about thaaaiit... in a forest gump voice.

Those cushions wear... that's what they are made to do. If it's a lot of slop get it fixed. If not, ride it like that for a while. I have a hinson and the cushions were showing a touch of slop after 3 hard weekends. It's the nature of the beast.

Nope, it's okay. Probably does it when the oils cold mostly. Mine does the same thing. It's not as bad since I switched from gear oil to atf tranny oil.

Maybe your jets aren't drilled accuratley. A clogged circuit could cause you trouble too. Maybe something went through the carb and ruined the circuit. Maybe there is an air leak in the choke plunger.

The more load the more fuel you'll need. If you are a hill climber, you'll find yourself having to run richer then a guy who runs flat ground all the time.

Do a compression test and see how that goes. Maybe you just got some sand in the carb bowl through the gas and it clogged the pilot jet.

It is a fun place that's not across the country. A lot of hqers go there.

Let the pro's handle it. There are usually some orings they replace. I know when I send mine to axis they dyno them. They beat the crap out of them to make sure they don't leak before sending them back.

If you find it that cheap, let all of us know. It's alot more work then you think. I did one. I don't have a plasma cutter though. If I did, it would have been a lot easier. I went through 2 cutting wheels, a recep blade and 5 hrs of time for the whole project.

If your stock clutch is steel good you may get away with heavy duty springs and take out the rubber rings between the fibers. You have to remember, the stock fibers in the banshee are the same ones they use in their 600 street bike. Same part number... different basket.
