  3. John sells them all the time
  4. Man I wish I could go !!!!!!!! That would be killer to see.
  5. The boxes on the carbs have a switch in the also. That's how the tors knows the relationship of the carb slide to the throttle. Something as simple as one of the switches in the boxes on the carbs will fool the tors into thinking the slide is sticking open now allow the engine to rev. Not rev as in ignition. Good right up Ben
  6. so stock fibers and barnet hardware Cool!!! Do they have a website.
  7. The air entering your carbs and mixing with the fuel is what changes jetting. Anyway, an airfilter box no lid won't need any jetting changes from pods. Banchetta tried it on the dyno.
  8. All I know is BitTorrent was designed to cover the users arse. That's why its so cool.
  9. My post was oil specific. I said, depends on the oil. In any 2 stroke application the oil is "smart". Follow the oil manufacturers recommendations. And, it doesn't have to be just race bikes. I won't run less oil than 40:1 because I don't trust it with any oil.
  10. www.ericgorr.com is his website. Sure seems to know a lot and has a lot to learn on his site. Check it out.
  11. The easiest way to check for spark is to put a good spark plug onto the spark plug wire. Set the shiny part, bottom, of the spark plug up against some bare metal such as in the spark plug hole. Kick it over. You should see a spark jump aross on the end of the spark plug.
  12. Here's a graph I got from planet sand for reed cages. I'll list them in order by color. The vforce 2 reeds did the best all the way through. It's the line on top. Of course I've made the pic so small you can't see it now.... Here's the link if you are a ps member http://www.planetsand.com/ubbthreads/showf...sb=5&o=&fpart=1 Vforce is blue Dir Reeds Red fmf green pyramid purple carbon tec puke green
  13. Depending on the oil the most common is 32:1 or 40:1. Some oils will allow 50:1 up to 100:1. I run 40:1 with maxima oil.
  14. Our local dealers sell them for $11. It's a common puller.
  15. Be glad that's all you got... lol. He hasn't quit playing with those things
  16. If the bike isn't due for a rebuild you can gain more pwr for the money elsewhere.
  17. This is a stator. You can see the coils he's talking about. See how there are two sets of windings. One's covered with white epoxy. One set if for ignition and one for lighting. Do you have spark???????
  18. I don't know about traction but skat trak turned a set of lawnmower tires into haulers...
  19. Ohhhh!!, Get some lawn mower tires. You know I think it was cotteneyejoe that had some haulers that were yard tamers or something before they were cut. It was at Dumont. I couldn't believe it.
  20. If it's a postal money order I've heard rumors it can become federal !! If I pay with a money order I use postal money orders.
  21. A guy on ps has some for sale too.. http://www.planetsand.com/ubbthreads/showf...rt=1#Post302433
  22. Most of the pwr is in the porting I believe. 4mm stroker isn't a huge stroke increase but does yeild some extra pwr. If your motor is due for a crank and your going to port, that's the way to go. You would be suprised at the pwr a good builder can pull out of a stock crank motor with good porting/pipe combo/carb combo. You may just want to look at that route and save the $400-$500 for the crank.
  23. Did you change the plugs? Do you have spark at all? Could have fried the stator if there's no spark. If there is spark you may have fouled a plug real bad from it not firing right and you riding it so much.
