  1. I think you have a bad connector on the end of a wire. Just have someone crank it while you start searching.
  2. www.carbparts.com www.pro-flo.com www.sudco.com You can call any of these places. Make sure you tell them it's a banshee. They do have different pilots than standard mikuni pilots.
  3. lol, yes, I understand that.. lol. I was just wondering if the plug chop was an accurate way to read the plug. There are a lot of ways to read a plug, just always wondered if the plug chop was an accurate way. I just didn't know.
  4. the shift fork we are referring too is the fork on the end of the shifter that moves the shift star. You don't need to split the cases for that
  5. I want to hear the stories about that link... it just cracks me up.
  6. If it doesn't start hard try another gauge to make sure.
  7. It's stock fzr 600 fibers (stock banshee fibers) and barnett springs and steels according to someone else the called and ordered it.
  8. If I go I'll have duct tape under my flag with bansheehq written in marker (if I remember the marker).
  9. -2 swingarm +2 +1 a arms best shocks you can afford. ( I use axis) 19" front tires 18" back tires steering stablizer (optional) pegs moved back 2 inches and lowered ( optional if you feel a little cramped ) Wider axle If you are tall you could raise the handle bars
  10. If you do a search you'll will find multiple opinions on the best. Adjusting the clutch will not make it not slip. It will make it release all the way when you pull the clutch handle.

  12. So Jim, you believe that the plug chop is the way to go. Is it ball park or dead on?
  13. somebody here can get you a stock swinger for cheap. Now the ninja swingarm may be hard to come by. Def let us see pics of this one. Were are you located.
  14. Holy Cow........ Can you cut the back of the ninja swinger and attach it to the banshee swinger. Then you wouldn't have to fab the mount.
  15. Most likely to rich. Have had the same problem. What's your mods and jetting right now.
  16. It's in the center of the pressure plate.
  17. You may find it's not really overheating. It may be leaking out from riding to hard. Click here http://kuoi.asui.uidaho.edu/~john/tips.html to see how to fix that. I use to always be adding coolant until I did this.
  18. He means may 1st I'm looking into the silver lake idea. I have to see when I'm on call next.
  19. You have a point about the seals and such, but if it were me, and you already started it... I just have fun on it. The only seal I'd be worried about is the crank seals but they'll probably be fine. Something you can do to decide since you've ran it alread is to do a leak down and compression test. It the seal shafts collected rust and caused the seals to rip you'll know with a leak down. As far as the cylinders go a compression test will help determine the status of the rings.
  20. That first one kicks ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. I made a +3 for mine to go to glamis. I can ride a wheelie out super slow and a long way with my -2. It was very difficult to ride one with the +3. I did get it to balance some and ride kind of slow.. but it wasn't easy. It's give or take. I couldn't believe how much better I could launce in the sand though.
