  1. I just sent mine to www.grandriverracing.com . He does a lot in his own machine shop. His name is Andy. He'll hook you up, just call him.
  2. Here ya go http://www.roostfest.com/cages.htm
  3. It's not an oil injection machine The first thing to do is get a clymers manual. Then get some sort of air filter plate. The stock airfilter setup is very unreliable. If you can't afford a plate, at least silicone and screw the stock plate to the box. For speed, pipes are your easiest mod. You can also open up the airbox by taking the snorkel off of it and cutting (Banchetta tested ) 1 1/2 off the back of the air box lid. Always rejet when changing intake or exhaust though. After that it's all fun. There's tons of stuff you can do to a banshee. It's like a harley.... barely any two are alike.
  4. When my quad is firing only one cylinder, it bogs like an sob. I'm sure you would have noticed.
  5. WOW, it's completely different. Not only does it change the port timing, the skirt is way thicker... which is good. Thanks for the pics meat.
  6. No problem, I just hope it's not a misprint.
  7. Pour a little into the cylinders and get it to pull that fuel in. Then you should be able to get it adjusted. The pilots are what limit you from starting it.
  8. You can get the 4mm long rod from moto sport outlet for 500.
  9. Can we see those pics? Or email me if you can 't post them. I'll post them.
  10. Your pilot or needle jet may have been lean. You may have had your main all set up but not the others...... or you just had an airleak and didn't know it. What did the pistons look like. Was it the top end or bottom end that locked up?
  11. Sounds like you have the kit that bolts to the airbox. If not, you can silicone and bolt the stock plate to the airbox in order to get rid of the lid. I'm not sure you'll gain a lot more from a uni foam or a k&n filter. Some say the guaze type filters allow powdery dust in. I have a k&n and run an outwear. I ran my top end for 3 years and my piston skirts were only .004 wore. That's pretty good considering they were machined at .003 inch. To each there own. You'll notice more performance from unretricting the airbox than having a different filter in there. Just remember to re-jet.

  13. Shouldn't affect anything on the outside. You may want to leave the pickup clean, but it shouldn't have to be.
  14. Those poor guys !!!!!!!!!!!!!! When are the services?
  15. Well, most cranks are good, but if you want a performance one Andy at grand river racing can put together a nice one. He can add 10 ball bearings to the one you have and put a needle bearing on the pto side. I believe some others build them that way too. A little $$$, but may be worth it. I just spun a 7 ball bearing after 3 years. I don't think it should have done that. It's a wiseco hot rod crank.
  16. It was kind of dark at first, but it just keeps getting better and better. Keep up the good work lee.
  17. Hell yes, just remember to jet fatter (richer)
  18. I found a magnetic drain plug at advanced auto for $2.79. If it doesn't make it back to images, I'll post it again. It's also parts america, they own advanced auto and checkers auto parts.
  19. http://wave.prohosting.com/edge2/banshee_parts.htm Check this out
  20. magic racing had the barnett kit for 89.95 I believe. That's where I just got mine.
  21. I love the "my assistant) at the top too!! Great job lee. Keep it coming!!!!!! The calendar will be a neat tool if somehow we can add different rides for different weekends that members will be going on. Looks like the members list is a little funky yet but I really like that you can add a photo to your user. Don't forget to put in your b-day in your profile. I noticed the site lets everyone know who's b-day it is.
  22. That's good Wheat. We need to get this stuff reposted...
