  1. BenBB, my statement above is partially incorrect. I'll pm you the copyright law.
  2. The auction I looked at was not closed. I just sent him an email myself. BenBB, I tried to access your web page and it says I'm not authorized... ***Edit*** The auction was ended. I was looking at it wrong. I still emailed him.
  3. BenBB, that is a copyright infringement. Just because you didn't post it with the copyright office doesn't mean it's not a copyright. If you could prove the date it was written, it's his ass. You cannot copy something someone else has and make and sell it without there permission. I have heard of people having something notorized for the purpose of proving the date. In the event someone would copy it, it would be there butt. I'd email him and tell him he owes you the profit. Then you could send it back to blue. By the time everythings paid for to get it back to him he'll probably get about $.49.
  4. Did you try messing with the parking break switch by the clutch? Maybe just bad gas. Also, check the grounds. Maybe the coild ground.
  5. Ray, I think I have a set also. Not the plastic, just the floorboards.
  6. The slide is the cylinder shape that goes up and down inside the carb as you give it throttle.
  7. As blue said, talk to them. They'll get them for the same price and no middle man. It really is he way to go. May be an extra step for you, but well worth it. Just explain that your interested in going straight to the source.
  8. If your not sure about putting all that money into it, just race once or twice and decide. You're most likely not going to go out there and win unless you know the track with whatever you have. It's going to be a rough ride. I have axis shocks and put the stockers on while they went out for a rebuild. I rode for about five minutes and parked it. You don't notice how much your mods help until you go backward.... man what a difference. I say for you, go out, ride the track, decide what you want from there. Make sure you check your ball joints before racing it. If a ball joint or a-arm breaks.... that could hurt. Be safe, give it a shot and have fun. Not everyone can just run out and buy suspension, a-arms ... etc... Try it first and then decide.
  9. Andy at grand river racing has that kit your talking about. I think it's a needle bearing. www.bansheezone.com (Meats site) has the tear down procedure for the engine. You should check it out. It's nice to have pics to go by. He did a great job.
  10. Nope, it runs between the carbs in the center. If you take your seat off you should see a short approx 3 or 4 inch piece of tube that goes from the center of the right side of the left carb to the center of the left side of the right carb. Also, if you took your slides out, you may have put them in the wrong carb, but I'm guessing choke tube also.
  11. Maybe I was confused between the two. Thanks for the clarification.
  12. If you mean crank then tony doukas racing or www.grandriverracing.com can hook you up.
  13. That's good info. And yes... anti friction modifiers I heard are not good for clutches. I don't know. I haven't seen any written proof of this.
  14. Stock pipes do restrict, but in certain areas of the rpm range. I have heard of people porting a motor out, using stock pipes and smoking others with just pipes. If you already have the filters by all means use them. If you have the stock airbox on there now, you will notice a difference for sure. Not everybody has the money to put on pipes and all the goodies. I'm glad to see you sticking to the rules in your area also. That's the attitude that will keep our sport alive. You will hear a lot of intake noise with the air filters, but nothing like pipes. I'd go for it.
  15. Great info.... I use simple green all the time. I don't have billet so I didn't notice. Thanks !!!!!!!!!
  16. I'd say start with 240's and go from there. Use benbb's jet faq to help you out. http://www.dfn.com/benkaren/jetfaq.html
  17. The exhaust cut is on the super stock. The power pistions are just what meat has posted. As far as people breaking the skirts... warm up warm up warm up. Those pistons may take an extra minute or two being they are thick. After that I can't see a problem. I know you ride a lot meat so if they were a problem, you would have had one by now. This is good info. Thanks again for the pics.
  18. Well, when he doesn't answer, I just call back in an hour or so. He answers when he has time. He told me he doesn't check his email very often. As far as the call backs, I'm not sure on that one... Like I said, I don't leave messages. I just call back later. His machine says he can't answer during the day, but he does.
  19. As far as a seller, I'd trust Minkia. I've ridden with him at silver lake and he's a great guy... even though I couldn't keep up with him Besides, I know where he lives
  20. I used catrol 10w30, but I think it's got some type of additive that's not exactly good for the clutches from what I've read. I'm looking for a new oil to use now that I just replaced my clutch.
  21. Andy at www.grandriverracing.com sells one made like the hinson new for $150. He may even be able to give you a better price if you give him a call.
  22. You can get your old user name if someone hasn't taken it. Just get ahold of lee. As far as the pics, it's because lee hasn't set up space for pics yet. You have to post pics by linking them to a pic on the net or offsite server. It will only get better guys. Lee's going to post the old forum for reference when he gets time. Nothings lost, just be patient grasshopper
  23. Yep !!!!!!!!!! I'd like to have one, but I'm not to the point of trading. If I had an extra banshee to trade for one, I'd be thinkin...
  24. Some mini sprint tires are what you need.
