i cant wait to get my motor back from Jim, hopefully i'll need a diaper endorsment...... Me too !!!!!
  3. I read the post wrong. I thought it was bouncing you up after you landed. Like said above, there are a lot of factors to consider in your case.
  4. There is a rebound adjustment on the bottom of the shaft. Try messing with that.
  5. I was told on top end v-force and properly ported stock cages with tdr reed will flow about the same. Delta v-force are suppose to be the best for low end "snap".... throttle response. That's what you want for mx. I'm getting some delta's soon from nyuk.
  6. That most likely is the carbs acting up. The banshee carbs are known to do that when they get wet. I've never figured out why.
  7. I seen a jeep at silverlake that kick every atv's butt out there. I couldn't believe it. Paddles front and rear. It was black if anyone has ever been out there and seen it.
  8. I found some chrome fatty's and powerore 1 chrome silencers for 250 a few years ago. Shop around. That's doesn't sound like a great deal.
  9. I don't think it will get finished. It's something I read a long time ago and had in my favorites. I just found it and re-posted it.
  10. Actually, on street bikes, you're suppose to use the brakes evenly. Not the rear more than the front. If you don't have a rear brake, how do you control wheelies. What do you do if someone stops in front of and you need to stop going down hill. I use both my brakes.
  11. I wonder if he got permission to use that pic to make him profit.
  12. Yep, that's holymans up top. I believe he used a desk hole cap for that. Mrmatt, I must have been looking for that page when you posted it. It's within a minute.
  13. Click here for 2 stroke theory. Just something I came across.
  14. Click HERE to see how I moved the bottle. Actually, I left the overflow tube over my pipe so I could tell if it was spitting it out. Haven't had one problem in two years.
  15. It's the best thing I've done to the cooling system. It use to spit coolant and I'd have to fill it all the time. It would get low if I went on a whole day ride. I'd even worry if it were getting to low. I use to think it was overheating, but it wasn't. It was actually just siphoning itself out because the coolant bottle sits so high compared to the radiator. I straped it up under the front and rerouted the hose. Didn't have to refill it once last summer. A lot of peoplel eliminate the coolant bottle all together and don't have any trouble. I decided to keep mine so it can pull some in when it need it. And yes, it works that way. Holyman (I believe) proved that.
  16. If you do a search, I posted jons banshee zone. All you have to do is zip tie it to the front. I don't have the link handy right now though.
  17. Oh, I forgot, they are 9 1/2 inches by 37 inches and he'll have yamaha blue next week.
  18. I just found a guy I found on ebay that sells them. I've been looking for a long time. He can be reached by email at Eaneidhart@aol.com . He can get white, black, yellow, red for 18.00 and chrome for 25.00. Let him know fixitrod told you to email him or just say your from bansheehq. I do not know this guy but his name is eric. I'm going to buy a couple myself and see how it goes.
  19. If you keep it out of the light, it should be fine. If it runs like crap, it's bad
  20. Hey led, maybe you should build one of those vacuum testers. You may have a small air leak. And for papasmurf, you may have gotten water in the carbs also and the tors is taking over when the slides stick. Good luck
  21. I'd go with the 35pwk if it were me. Actually, the only reason is because my builder has suggested them for the 4mm he's building for me. As your builder. It may depend on the porting. Andy runs 39's on his drag bikes.
  22. I don't think the piston changes transfer timing does it. I know it changes exhaust timing, but I didn't think it changed transfer timing.
  23. Excellent post Wheatchex. Thank you to every service member that has served, is serving, or died serving. I'd also like to thank the families. You too have a very big part is how our soilders fight and how thier children are being taken care of. There's a lot to be said for the families also. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. If you haven't personnally thanked someone today that has served, even if not in combat, please give them a call or look them in the eye and say thanks for what they did. I make it a point to call everyone and say "since it's verterans day I thought I'd call and say thanks". It's that easy and it will be a big deal even if they act like it's not.
  24. I'm in the same situation as you. I usually have to do it in 3rd or 4th. Then, when I do get to open it all the way up, I notice it's not right. At least you'll be able to ride it this winter even if it is a touch rich.
