    4mm Stroke.

My motor should be put back together this weekend. I'll let you know how it works. I'd have someone cut your head or get an aftermarket so you can have the pistons go inside the head. I'd rather not have the extra surface to allow leaks. It's an opinion. You also have the porting adjusted for the new crank. You don't necessarily need to have it ported, but adjust the ports. I think with the spacer, you need to lower the transfers 2mm.
  3. To tell you the truth, I think break in is way more simple than people make it out to be. All you need is a few heat cycles to seat the rings. Anybody ever had trouble from not taking pre-caution from a break in,.
  4. I have some vito ported I'm going to be selling. Pm me with an offer. They have boysen dual stage reeds.
  5. Man I was first... memmememememememememememem...lmao. Like chase said, I hope it works out for everyone. Looks like they have some nice stuff.
  6. An honest answer from someone who sells the aftermarket flange. That is great of you dlnoss.
  7. I wouldn't use wd-40. It will actually clean the oil off the parts . I'd make sure clean gas was in the carb like said above.
  8. There is a lip on the metal adapters that helps keep the filter on. Suppose to help flow to because of the shape but hey.... who really knows. Mines just bolted on and I've had no trouble for 3 years.
  9. Fire it up. That's how I did my boat when it sat all winter. Of course I fogged the engine before winter.
  10. that banshee has pipes, it's not all the way stock.
  11. I'll tell you what. Those 450's are fast if you open up the airbox, rejet and pull the baffle out of the exhaust. You'll pay more but you're also getting newer technology, better suspension and handling, etc. The banshee is seat of the pants fun. What kind of riding do you plan on doing with it.
  12. Hey guys, don't post what you not suppose too and put it in the right place. Now the moderators are out of your life..... Damn I'm good. Uh... can I say Damn
  13. Cute Kid. I have three of my own that I love to death.
  14. Hey chase73, I guess we're just gonna hook that guy right up.
  15. I just had some porting done by grand river racing. I'll let you know what I think when I get my motor back.
  16. Click here to see what he's selling the same grill for on the modquad page.
  17. Looks like straight cut gears on a spring cushioned basket and an rz350 motor. What's your question.
  18. Check the jetting on that. Looks like that muffler is getting awful hot. Other than that, it looks nice.
  19. An aftermarket head is always a good idea. I don't use one yet, but I eventually may. They cool better and they are adjustable. You don't need a new gasket everytime you and to pull the top off to look inside either. They are suppose to be less likely to leak with higher compression also. It's not necessary and you can add a head at anytime.
  20. The adjuster on the pearch was all the way in, however, there was no slack so that must have been the problem. No matter how much I adjusted stuff, I could not get any slack in the cable to be felt in the lever but thought it would be alright. I was wrong. Suppose to have like 1/4" slack right? I do use ATF Type F and I did the leakdown test already. Yep, something like that. You were dragging (slipping) the clutch the whole time you were riding. That's what burnt it up. I'm not sure why you couldn't get any slack though. Are you sure you adjusted the center screw on the pressure plate right. It sound like it from what I read. You made sure the arrows lined up under your left carb. You my have the cable kinked or the cable is sticking.
  21. Or a torch if you don't have a heat gun. Be careful not to melt the plastics.
