  1. Shipping to Canada can be outrageous sometimes
  2. good info. i got a set of original stock dunlops for the front, think they could work? And i thought you needed to run tubes when you stud? Also, what screw/stud do you recommend? i am thinking my quadzilla is going to be a better ice bike with the amount of torque it has compared to the shee. Lots to think about.
  3. i have a set of razors with 50-60% wear left, im hoping there is enough meat to stud them and then add tubes. What money pits eh? hahaha
  4. elka stage 3....should work, no? no sway bar, been toying with the idea of ice racing.
  5. Im jumping in on this thread. So i am in the process of building a 19.25 inch LT bike with Fireball arms. Can i make this work for ice racing or is this way to much suspension? My current motor is a 4 mil Redline with play port, maybe 70 hp if tuned perfectly. I know i need a stock or shorter length swingarm Nice house for the money, I had to pay double in Edmonton for half the house. Payments until i am almost 70!
  6. I no next to nothing about these set ups. Could you guys speak to how/ what the cc sizes are for the classes of bikes, the usual HP of these bikes, and the type of pipe that works well?
  7. gotta say i like Pro Circuits, and they are proven to produce good HP/TQ....and they are relatively cheap and easy to come by used.
  8. I would love to buy the same air box if you ever get fabricating another
  9. Oh man I want this! Just had redline build m a 4mil stock cylinder and now regret not going this route
  10. Lots of good info right there, thank you.
  11. Ok, i have used the search function for this topic and it has given me a couple more questions in regards to me going long travel. 1) I have read that the banshee frame has limitations in regards to going long travel. My question is if i go with a 19.25 shock over a 18.25 shock am i going to feel any difference? How long of travel can i realistically get out of a stock frame with long travel arms? 2) I have been looking at long travel manufacturers (Laegers, Alba, Fireball, American Star etc) some have different shapes, all have differnt costs. IS there a design (shape) that works better than others? Thank you.
  12. WOW!!!! Cleanest banshee i have ever seen. Nice find.
  13. Damn, got pretty much the same bike. Not sure hp wise there will be another pipe that will make a bigger difference. The PCs are still pretty impressive.
  14. I dont know what to believe about pods. I own 2 bikes, a banshee and a zilla and on both websites sites about 50% of the people running pods have had dust or sand make its way through the filter. I have also read that dyno results from an open airbox were the same as pods, also heard uni pods were better than filter type for keeping out dust...then filter (K&N type) better than uni......i seriously dont know what to think.
  15. Are tricked out 450s as fast as your serval now?
  16. Gotta say I never heard a bad thing about Flotek. I find it weird that you didn't contact him first, seems like it would be the first thing anyone would do?
  17. reply of the week! Back to the OP question, I wouldn't buy either of those pipes. You want torque and bottom end, SLP all the way. There HP and TQ numbers are hard to ignore.
  18. I'm hoping some builders and folks who have done a lot of rebuilding can chime in on this. Went looking at two stroke oil for my new engine. Prices were $18 to $6 bucks a quart. Regular, semi, and full synthetic. Back in the day (20 years ago) I ran the cheap castrol stuff with no problems. Does the expensive synthetic really run that much better? Can you nice a difference in the life span of an engine with wear and tear? Also why do some folks run synthetic for their clutch? I always heard not to run synthetic.
