  1. ha i just had that conversation. when i checked the reviews i found some unsatisfied customers with laegers. the guy i talked to (from the big shop in california) said they were sick of waiting for parts and service so they pulled all the laeger stuff last week. He loved the LSR service and warranty is lifetime.
  2. Well looks like in buying some lonestar lt arms and elka 3s
  3. Hahaha, don't sell that bike! Nothing like escaping to the garage to wrench on the bike and get away from the wife and kids for a couple of hours.
  4. Strongly considering scrapping my build and getting into ice racing. Here's the problem, I'm 275! If I go on a super diet I might get 250...maybe 240. I would imagine a 125lb rider would be the equivalent of having 30-40 extra hp, and wonder if I could ever even be competitive.
  5. Damn. This couldn't have been posted at a better time
  6. I would look no further than the sweet ass bike in the for sale section. Long travel to boot. Take that new job of yours and get a loan. That bikes just complete and half price! Ithe motors I'm seeing on eBay are all over 2k for what your looking for. I got a blown engine off ebay and built it for 1400 through redline. That's the way to do it.
  7. I'm looking for an extended steering stem. Anti vibe would be nice. I run pro taper bars so something that fits those.
  8. Do the four strokes have a chance against your banshee ice racing? They can't be close to you on hp
  9. It's the little pain in the ass stuff that you don't think about that costs money like brakes, electrical, rotors, hubs, hoses, levers etc. and the thing I like about the donor bike is that you send the engine away to your preferred builder and you know what you got. Buying something off ebay or whatever is a crap shoot. Nothing wrong with ground up build, I have just found it more cost effective the other way
  10. I'm also with Deadbeat on this, but you sound set in your ways and that's fine, it's just gonna cost a hell of a lot more. I would get yourself an engine off kijiji for s few hundred and send it to a builder and build a 4mil stock cylinder bike with SLP pipes. You'll be close to a serval and be saving cash. Suspension, I would take advantage of the elka special and get some fireball, laeger, or lonestar LT arms through atv Galaxy.
  11. Wow!!! You hav forgotten more than I will ever know. Great post
  12. Right over your head. You obviously know little about sarcasm. Stick with this site and you'll learn a lot
  13. Looking good! What made you go with CPI pipes?
  14. Personally I thought that was a damn good first post. It will be the 2nd follow up post that determines shit from here on in.
  15. $650 going through atv galaxy? Fireball quoted me 850 when i called
  16. i was on the phone with fireball last month, i think the guy told me they make parts for about 5 different manufacturer's....I believe AMS is one of them. I have researched this topic to death, it was my plan to start an LT bike this winter and Fireball is who i decided on. Unfortunately next week we are down to one income. Anyone selling regular +2 a arms? No LT for me this year.
  17. Are you sure fireball of arms are 600? Is that through atv Galaxy? I like fireball the best
  18. Lots of hate for FMFs on this site....not sure why. Personally think they are a great trail pipe.
  19. not sure about his prices but his Honda and yamaha work is tops.
