  1. I would, that’s too long. Call him and have them sent back. For 500 cdn there is a set with new pistons on Kijiji Ontario. Port work looks good. It’s a quick option and you’ll save money
  2. My 87 535 was faster than my Redline 4 mil stocker. Had an Aaen pipe, VF reeds and o ringed head, port work by CV Tech, ears reinforced, and crank inserts. if I ever bought another, Jerry Hall would do my engine and I’d buy his pipe. I don’t miss it at all, parts were impossible to find and lots of money. Banshee engines are way more reliable and better designed.
  3. I bought them used already chromed. I old never be able to afford me chrome
  4. I sold my first set in 1 minute for 600 shipped. That was three years ago. My chrome ones I’d ask 1000
  5. you can get a mud lite in a 20 or 21 in profile
  6. Certain builders with that set up with shaved head, porting and bored carbs are getting mid 70s. So lots of power available.
  7. What pipe do you hve? who ported it? Domes?
  8. Stock is good enough with your high flow impeller
  9. Buy a stock yamaha stator
  10. Yes. I think youve found the problem, the lighting coil on the stator
  11. Can vary drastically in price. 4 mil stocker 1500 4 mil serval 2500 stock stroke stock cylinder 500-1000 There are builders getting reliable 77hp out of stock stroke stock clyinder engines with your pipes, porting, carb boring, and head shave. Unless your a heavy guy id go that option and save money
  12. If its already on the bike and all you need is a piston, run it. Is the cylinder scored so bad it needs re-plating?
  13. I think it was a bad move. Unless your cylinders are finished your stock cylinders are the way to go. Athena has bad plating and port timings I’ve read makes the power band narrow. You would have been better getting Driveline cylinders which have taken that design and improved it and drastically improved the plating.
  14. If you get long travel a arms you’ll need different shocks.
  15. Id do the a arms first. LSR sells an axle a arm package.
  16. Here Jugs Racing and FAST do awesome porting and have a decent turn around time. vF4 reeds, welded stock crank and a good pipe and you’ll be flying. If you have money though, through it into a arms and shocks.
  17. LSR Fireball Stellar Tyson Lots to choose from
  18. You can still buy the petals for 2-4. anyway word is that VF2s for drag applications are the best. I have no first hand knowledge of this but have heard this multiple times. Cascade Innovations tested all the reeds and found VF4 had the best power throughout the curve. I believe they are better than VF2s across the board except for wide open (drag) riding.
  19. Not FMF Fattys? We need to know your jet sizes, both pilot and main
