You got 5K to spend, this is how you do it. long travel suspension (fireball, LSR, American Star) with a decent shock ( stadium, Ella, axis, etc) $3000 Then take your stock engine send it to a sponsor and get a dune/mx ported 4 mil with supporting mods 1500-2000 Then exhaust (used) of your choice. you would have a fast and nice handling bike.

lets hear a comparison of the pipes you've rode. I feel like the CPIs are like Pro Circuits on steroids. Big powerful mid range with a higher rev.

You can pick up a set of Pro Circuits cheap used. IMO theyre the best used pipe for the money, and they have been proven to put out good hp on ported or bigger motors. If i am buy new right now i would get Shearer for top end, CPI for all around and top end, SLP for low end and trails.

That pipe ain't going to do shit on that engine. Your in the realm of big bore pipes with a 521. Stick to the pipes I mentioned

Poolur your money into long travel suspension and build a 70-85 hp engine using your stock jugs and possibly a 4 mil crank. ...and the meek shall inherit the earth ...

I graduated HS 25 years ago and havent done a math equation since. I am sure with some tutoring this would make sense. Conversions and formulas especially i have forgotten. Anyway dont want to ruin this thread with my math shortcomings.
